Friendly staff and a comfortable place to be. Well kept office and even during the height of the pandemic the staff was kind and friendly.

I have been putting up with some pretty painful arthritis in my big toes. I was able to manage it…read morefor years with pain meds but it got to the point where I needed to have a dr look at it. Dr Chang had me do a few things but when it kept going on he said the best thing for it was surgery which kinda scared me but I'm glad he said so. So much relief after surgery, had to stay off the foot a decent amount for a couple weeks but now it feels brand spanking new! Scheduled to get the other one done since it really wasn't a big deal like I thought surgery would be. Thank you!!!

I had a pair of orthotics made by Dr Lam, and they didn't work. I called to make an appointment…read moreonly to find out Dr Chang was now running the practice (or should I say ruining the practice). His solution to new orthotics - pay out of pocket to cough up as my insurance paid for the previous ones. Let's not take care of the patient but let's try to rip them off! This snot nosed excuse for a 'doctor' doesnt have a poor bedside manner - more like non-existent. I asked what I was supposed to do with orthotics that were useless - his answer was fitting 'that is not my problem' At this point, I am contemplating a letter to the professional board as my guess is that his degree was found in the clearance isle at Walmart. RUN to a different provider someone who a) cares for patients and b) will actually take care of you instead of trying to rip you off

Be prepared to pay over $600 on orthotics, cream, tape and wraps over the normal insurance billed…read morefees. At first I was excited about the chance to get PT help with someone focused only on feet. I was put off by her irritation that she had to message and minipulate both my feet!, she complained about this more than once. Sorry but both feet were sore. When I last saw her she told me that people when they are old have sore feet. "Haven't you noticed how old people stand up slowly?", she said. I'm 65 and this was the last straw and the last visit. Later I found a good PT person who recognized that I needed to stretch and exercise my whole body so I could walk relaxed. This along with feet exercises finally helped. I had no relief from Walk of Life. Secondly she recommended custom made orthotics, this was $485 and she would not bill insurance for this. I never could wear these orthotics, instead I bought some on Amazon for $28 and they worked much better. Also I had to buy some cream at a custom pharmacy so she could do something do my feet. The cream was about $85 and was of no use to me other than with her machine. Next she recommended I buy special tape and wrapping material, another expense. UGGH
