Told her that she could communicate in a more friendly manner which made her even more rude in her response. At the same time this waitress was quite friendly to obviously known customers on the neighbor table. Out of the blue these customers tried to provoke us with vulgar and rude behavior which we ignored by saying it is not their business to get involved which aggravated them even more. It ended by them saying they are German and I am not. I felt ironically quite honored by this false statement because as German citizen I don't want to deal with obviously racist guests which seem welcome at this place. We left without ordering and will never be back. Stay warned.

Super salads, pasta, meat and fish dishes. I often order the Auberginen Cordon-Bleu salad or the salmon. Good place to go to watch the people on the Marktplatz. If you want to sit outside when the weather is nice you have to wait for a free table as reservaitons are only taken for indoor seating. Also good for a first date and business lunches.

I haves the veal schnitzel and a potato/mushroom salad that was good. The only negative was the service. It was a little slow and from sit down to checkout I only spoke to him 3 times. Our friends are regulars here so they order for us. It was five of us and we ordered: 1) 5 kilos of grilled to perfection Lamb chops - Nice and tender with the hint of the charcoal from the indoor grill. There like little T-Bone steaks of lamb. 2) Grill Pepperoncini with tzatziki sauce and sprinkled with paprika - great appetizer, I couldn't stop eating them. 3) What look to be Fettuccine and Salisbury sauce with mushrooms - great accompaniment to the lamb! I would definitely return and I would recommend it to people visiting Mannheim!

Schade
