She called me on a Saturday morning and asked if we were available for makeup since the bride's makeup artist did a no show. I quickly had someone on my team come out to save the day. And boy was it a disaster. My artist showed up and everything was super unorganized. To top it off, the bride already did her own makeup so there was no point of asking us to come. We got "payment" and when we cashed in our check it bounced back. When I reached out to Sarah.. She responded with: "Our account is restricted for fraud investigation. Someone got a hold of our company info and spent a massive amount of money. While the bank is investigating it they put a freeze on the account for any incoming & outgoing transactions. I can only pay in cash or money order. All our card transactions are likewise blocked." Why would you give us a check when you knew about this ??? 2 months later- we still never got an apology or payment. This company is a scam and I do not recommend them!!!!

With my college graduation coming up, I was in a bind; my family and I all wanted to have good…read morephotographs to commemorate the event, but none of us can say we know our way around a camera (and apparently neither did the school-appointed cameraman). We turned to Cuilleres to try to help us with our photography issue, and they delivered tenfold. With a very personal touch we were able to take a number of photos across campus, and in a short amount of time we had our photos in hand. The work done on the photos was very professional done, especially considering we chose to have them taken on a busy day like a graduation with numerous distractions and passers-by (all of which were skillfully edited out). It was all the more impressive to me then that the work was done by a single person, from planning the shoot to taking the photos to editing and distributing them to me on time, letting me know every step of the way what needed to be done and how things were progressing. I even managed to get them before my terrible overpriced school-appointed shots (catching the time my mortarboard was about to float away in the wind) showed up in the mail. If I am ever in the Kirksville area again and in need of some photo taking, or just need someone to plan any kind of event, Cuilleres will definitely be my first choice.

Using the theme "Kelsee Found Her Main Squeeze," a lemon themed shower could not have been more of a hit. From fresh floral arrangements using lemons in the vases, lemon designed signs, table settings, game cards and a photo backdrop with props, everything was meticulously executed. We made homemade lemon soaps, used Janean Rizza for artfully themed cookies and a naked cake that even wedding cakes would envy. The event was perfect and I can't recommend Gilded Lace Events more!
