standin' on the corner in Winslow Arizona, and such a fine sight to see... Unfortunately, our stop in Winslow Arizona was a drop off/pick up on the Amtrak southwest route from LA to Chicago, so had no chance to explore Winslow and check out the corner made famous by the Eagles. read more

I first reviewed this Amtrak station years ago. It was being renovated at that time. Well, after renovation, it became a museum and the station is now inside La Posada Hotel. So you can have a snack in the Turquoise Room or a drink to get you ready for your train trip. The best of all worlds! read more

I love this train station at the La Posada hotel in Winslow Arizona. Lots of trains to watch. Great restaurant too. Lots of fun rooms with antiques and history. read more

When I got there they told me they didn't have a spot, offered me a spot against a fence with no water or ability to open my slides. The reason they gave me was that several people that were already there decided to extend their stay. I said so you rented them my space that I already booked and paid for? Yes was the answer. They finally set me up outside the property with a water hose and 30 amp plug-in they stretched through their fence, no sewer, not what I paid for, will never use them again.
