72/100 in 2016 challenge I have been in this location several times. It's a great place to get money orders if you need to. They are free here. Great to pay your utilities bills for a small fee. Good for sending money if you need to. I have not had any problems per say with staff here. Good fee schedule if cashing checks. They have always polite to me. Fast service. The one problem I have had is, the way they do not take who is next. You walk up to an open window and wait to be serviced. They do not like people standing and waiting. I have been going to this amscot for about 3 years now and have have had several issues with the staff. The last time I went, I went to the window to see if they took cards for payments but they didn't, the man asked me to use to atm so I did. With just my luck, the atm was out of cash but I didn't think to count my money once it dispensed since that has never happened to me before. When I went back to the window, I gave the man all of the cash I had taken out and when he counted it, he said that I was short. I said, that's impossible, I just took out xxx amount. He proceeded to argue with me about me being a liar and said that he doesn't know what I did with the money and that I could've put it in my pocket during my walk back from the atm to the window (mind you, the atm is in the amscot itself). When I asked him for a supervisor, he told me he was the supervisor and I was completely mind blown because of his terrible customer service for having been a person of authority. Ultimately, I ended up calling corporate on them and had to call my bank to report the issue so that my money could be replaced. read more
