Dear Todd and all the staff at AMS Vans: Wanted to drop you a note to give our sincere thanks to you and your folks there at AMS for our 2015 Chrysler Town and Country van, featuring your Legend conversion. As our disabled wheelchair-bound daughter aged, so did we, and searching for an easy, efficient and reasonably priced way to transport her became our mission. We could no longer rely on our own manpower and the wheelchair carrier attached to our pickup. My husband has always vehicle shopped the "hands on way" ... smell the new car smell, push all the buttons, personally view all the features, take a test drive and only then make his decision. A conversion van is certainly not found at a conventional car dealership. Using the internet to make such an important purchase seemed foreign and honestly a bit scary to us but we took the plunge. After a quick search, AMS Vans website came up and we viewed, reviewed and studied what was offered there. After some discussion and yet more discussion, we made the phone call and Todd's friendly voice came on the other end of the phone. After listening to our needs, he offered AMS's knowledge, experience and advice. Offering information about AMS Vans and their history of making peoples lives a bit easier. Todd and my husband discussed our situation at great length and within 24 hours he called back and offered a solution to our needs. AMS was even able to come up with our color preference (you have to understand how choosy my husband is)! After going over the financial detail, AMS Vans extensive dealer prep of the van and delivery arrangements, the deal was confirmed. Less than 10 days later, our 2015 Chrysler Town and Country Van with Legend conversation, was in our driveway! Delivery went very smooth with all details of the vehicle expertly demonstrated and explained. Our daughter is smiling, as we too are, and our life is much easier and family travel is very enjoyable. Every day since we wonder how we managed before our new van. We would not hesitate to refer others to Todd and his wonderful co-workers. I must admit, I was pretty skeptical about a company in Georgia preparing and then delivering wheelchair accessible vehicles across the nation ... right to your door. I came across the AMS Vans website as I was searching the internet for local dealerships. The local ones were all 30+ miles away and none had much of an inventory. I kept coming back to the AMS Vans website. The prices were actually better and the inventory superb compared to what I could find locally. I get to actually choose a color I like? I first spoke to Mark to talk about cost and delivery and such, and to see if I was in the ballpark to get a Dodge Grand Caravan I had seen (fell in love with) on the website. I live in California, across the nation from Georgia. What a test of "delivering nation-wide". After discussing my abilities and how I would be using the van, and what equipment I would need and not need, Mark and I made a deal on the cost including an allowance for my trade-in. Rafik kept me informed while the Caravan was being prepared. Forrest kept me up to date as it was being shipped. And Paul flew out from Georgia to deliver the Caravan to my door. Paul explained how the vehicle worked and how the powered ramp worked. It was actually quite easy. We went for a test drive to make sure the Caravan was going to work for me. It did. Paul took my trade-in for a drive to verify its condition as I had described it. After that, we finished the paperwork and the Caravan was mine. She's maroon. I call her the Maroon Caroon. read more

Hi this is Dalia with the Muscular Dystrophy Association from Houston, TX, I wanted to take this time to Thank AMS Vans for all their support with all our events that benefit all our MDA families directly. From sponsoring shakes to ALS families at ALS clinic to Caregiver's gift's to our family's caregiver's in November for National Caregiver's month. It does not stop there AMS helps bring smiles to our kids at the Texas Children's pediatric clinic in December by distributing toys to all are kids. They look forward to seeing Steve Holland-Texas representative in December especially because of the beautiful stuff toys that are passed out at clinic. They think of him as "Santa Claus". MDA Summer Camp- supports us by transporting all of our camp supplies to camp and sometimes even helps get power chairs to camp for a camper family that can not transport the chair to camp, by doing this AMS makes it possible for a camper to still attend camp. Last but not least is the support of our annual walk and Gala they support these events and these events help raise money to support our Pediatric, Adult and ALS clinics here in Houston as well as needed research and all of the other services. I am not someone who writes a lot of reviews, but after a recent visit to AMS Vans I wanted to spread the word about AMS. As a person who has used a wheelchair for more than 34 years, I have dealt with many companies that design products for people with disabilities. I have to admit that my experience with all those companies has ranged from dreadfully bad to amazingly good. My experience at AMS Vans definitely falls in the amazingly good category. First the facility is wonderful. It is clean and neat with plenty of room for someone in a wheelchair to move around and examine their vans. The staff is very friendly; I was greeted the moment I rolled through the door by a smile and an offer of a cup of coffee. I wasn't rushed by a pushy sales person. I felt like the person I worked with was more like a knowledgeable consultant...asking questions about my needs and making recommendations based on my responses. I am a musician so I wanted something with easy access that would allow for room for me, my equipment and a couple of bandmates. AMS Vans also had the option of side or rear ramp access. In looking through their showroom it was obvious that AMS Vans provided the quality that I need, but what was a surprise was the price! AMS went above and beyond to accommodate us for the delivery of a van to MD. The need for a van came on us suddenly, so I was shopping the market looking for the best deal for this major purchase. (AMS was the most bang for your buck for us.) AMS took the time, through many MANY MANY phone calls and emails, to make sure they found me the best fit. They were in constant contact to address any questions and concerns I had since it is a big deal to buy a car you don't get to see in person till delivery. Their patience and compassion during the entire process was astounding. In under 3 weeks (things on my end were the hold up) I had a beautiful manual ramp van. I was able to trade my old van in which they took at delivery after inspection. It's safe to say both AMS and I are happy with our transaction. Recently we purchased a Wheel Chair Accessible Van from AMS. The process from beginning to receiving the van went very smoothly. Dear Todd, Jim and I are enjoying the van outfitted for us by your company. We had our 2013 Chrysler van redone and has worked out well and looks good . My husband is a special needs person whose mind is fine and enjoys his outing sitting locked in the front passenger seat in his wheelchair. Besides all this we had looked for companies to outfit our van and your company was the most reasonable and very efficient in getting it done compared to other companies in our area where we reside in the summer in Canton, Ohio. Great buying experience from AMS Vans! We recently purchased a 2015 Dodge Caravan and couldn't have asked for a smoother transaction. My mother is in an assisted living facility and my sisters and I wanted to get a vehicle that would make transporting her to her doctor's appointments and to church much easier than transferring her in and out of our personal vehicles. i LOVE AMS VANS!! I had a local handicap van dealer that had a tremendous variety of vans and trucks to choose from. While looking at the prices and comparing the bells and whistles that were being offered, the prices were ridiculously high. With AMS Vans I was able to choose exactly what I was looking for and the paperwork was extremely easy. I was able to have my van in one week. I bought my van 10 years ago from AMS Vans. I am still driving it and have 211,000 miles on it. The conversion has held up all this time with a few maintenance on it which is to be expected. Love the new location they have in Tucker, GA. You feel like you're at a regular car dealership. The staff there are excellent and very professional. Daniel, in the service department, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and excellent customer service. I have been to a lot of Expos and to me AMS Vans is the best as of as price and quanity. The experience my family had with the staff was truly GREAT! From the sales staff to the service staff, nothing but GREAT experiences all around. They have a great team of professionals. They have made my brother-in-laws life better. He absolute LOVES the van and enjoys riding in it each day. He is even able to open/close the doors and operate the ramp on his own.
