Great physicians. The staff and office flow was a smooth experience. Everyone was kind and friendly.

I have been going to this practice since November 2024. It is the most organized medical practice I have seen. The staff is always very efficient and pleasant. The doctors are great and spend time with you. I don't feel rushed and my doctor listens to what I have to say and how best to treat me. I am always called in to the office at precisely the time of my appointment. I highly recommend this practice. read more

I highly recommend this cardiologist office. I see Dr.Klugherz. I highly recommend this md. He listens to my concerns and we plan the next steps. He's very proactive in trying to solve issues. Thank You , Dr Klugherz! I did not get her name , she in nursing school at LaSalle. She was very pleasant doing my EKG. Good bed side manner. Even though I was not in a bed. The check out person , 2nd stall from right black lady. Did not seem happy that I choose her window. Not sure if she is always like that. But she did not smile. Very disorganized office. I made an appointment with a specific cardiologist and wound up with a physician's assistant after a serious vasovagal incident. When I checked in, I gave the name of the doctor I was there to see. There was no mention that he was on vacation. Had I known that, I would have rescheduled or asked to see another cardiologist. As I was leaving, I was given an appointment to come back in six months to see the above-mentioned cardiologist. When I got home, I realized that they had mistakenly given me an appointment with someone I had never seen before. The reasoning behind this error was...his name started with the same initial. Seriously! The practice coordinator did her best to apologize and tried to do a reset. I had to request a CT brain scan due to headaches and the results were sent to me on the patient portal. When I had some questions regarding the results, I was told by an office staffer that it wasn't the doctor's area of expertise and was given the name of another specialist. Surely, this cardiologist would have known the basics of the test results. A year prior, the billing department was an equal disaster. Too long to elaborate. read more

On the day of my appointment I walked thru the door and one of the intake ladies seated at a desk bellowed, "You have to stand by the door and wait to be called!" Okay, I get it, these are Covid days and safety is paramount, but her drill-sergeant-style yell was a turn off. After a few minutes she called me over and I sat down to give my patient info (name, birthdate, insurance, etc.) As we talked, one of the nurses came from the back area to escort me to an exam room. When she saw that the intake person had not finished with me yet she stood there waiting and I could tell the nurse was seething. She seemed really annoyed with the intake person and the intake person totally ignored the nurse. Bad vibes. It gave me the impression that staff does not get along well nor do they operate cohesively. Eventually I got to the exam room to see the physician. His bedside manner was totally lacking. He took notes, and practically sighed his way through our session as if he was bored. He did not make me feel valued or like he cared about my health issue. In fact, I felt like just another case number and nothing more. My mind was made up then and there to never go back to AMS Cardiology. read more

Dr. Watson sat down with me and spoke in such a calming manner. I told him what my priorities were and he instantly agreed and created a plan of action. Every single one of my questions were answered. I've called the office and have gotten a response the same day. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family. read more

The cardiologist I saw was nice and knowledgeable. However, I had the following issues with the billing office: 1) Visit was billed as high complexity which raised strong concern of up-coding; I brought this to the attention of the office 2) During the time I thought that issue was being reviewed by the office, I received letters from a collection agency, the first one sent very shortly after issue of the initial bill and without a 2nd notice. Unfortunately the office was not receptive to any review of their coding or billing practice. They are unapologetic, very aggressive and do not tick do facts when challenged. read more

My boyfriend had a heart attack and a stent placed two weeks ago. His job working for a utility is very stressful working crazy hours along with shift work. I told him he was going to have a heart attack or stroke, and lo and behold it happened. Well that wasn't as bad as dealing with Alice the NP two weeks after his heart attack. He has been having extreme anxiety and unable to sleep, but Alice wants to send him back to work already!!! He has requested to speak to the doctor but Alice calls him back! There is no way he is ready to face the stress and he would like to take the time to do rehab and recoup before the demands of his job take over him again. I am a supervisor for this utility and I have never heard of sending someone back to work until they completed a rehab program. Apparently, Alice doesn't want to fill out any paperwork for his disability or do much of anything. Even the NPs at our company have said it's normal to be off for 6 weeks and she's never heard of such a thing! This was a heart attack and not just a stent! For the last week I have seen him with extreme anxiety, sick to his stomach and his blood pressure has been elevated over all this stress. This woman is totally unprofessional and obviously doesn't listen or care about people! I am urging him to find another cardiologist and would not recommend this group! Maybe the doctors are good if you can speak to them and get past Alice. read more
