I Paid two dollars for air at their air pump and the pump didn't work and didn't have a sign on it saying it was out of commission. I stopped by because I had some cash in my wallet and the gas was cheap. I had low expectations which they didn't meet. I stopped by knowing that it is better to pay cash to avoid the surcharge of using your debit card. I was not expecting any level of customer service because I was going to use the kiosk to pay. It should have been an unmemorable experience. The kiosk was broken so I had to go inside to pay. I didn't expect much for customer service. But I did expect the cashier to say SOMETHING to me. I should have known better since he didn't say much to the people in line before me. What bothered me the most was the distance between the pumps and where you pay inside. It's quite far! I wouldn't have notice except that the customer in the car next to me was an elderly woman. We both left to pay at the same time. I walked in, stood in line (I was 5th in line), paid, and walked out. It's your typical gas station. A few things that could be different from others is the pumps are spread out making iit easy to get in and out and even if it's crowded is easy access. Inside is all the good snacks and drinks to choose from. The biggest reason you come here is the gas prices always low. As of today it was 1.97 If you do have apple play they accept that to. It is pretty clean for a gas station. Don't know about the bathrooms though guess that'll be an adventure if I ever go into theirs. read more

This gas station sucks. First off, they don't accept credit cards and if you use a debit card they charge you an extra fee. But that's not the reason for a 1 star rating. The 1 star rating is because this gas station likes to let the windshield replacement idiots stalk the customers trying to fill up their gas tanks. Sometimes they even press on small chips in your windshield to see if they'll crack and spread... next time they try that on me they'll get a judo chop to their windpipe. Since we always have to pay a transaction fee for debit gas purchases in Cali this is just par for the course for me. 35cents on 25 gallons is a pittance. I'm just happy to be paying $3.65/gal instead of $4.07/gal like in San Diego. The tank of gas I got there to drove here was a hundred dollars! Yes, this place is debit/cash only. It's not an AZ thing though, there are plenty of stations that will take credit if that's your only option. Personally, I don't like the idea of paying interest on fuel, so I wouldn't use credit anyway. There is a 30 cent or so fee for using a card (debit), which covers their transaction fee from the banks. Therefore, cash is the way to go... using cash easily saves me ten cents a gallon compared to the competitors. There are cash kiosks by the pumps so you don't even have to go inside, you just have to plan ahead enough to get a little cash beforehand. They recently installed new pumps with "GSTV", so I'm entertained while I wait for my tank to fill. It might be worth noting that there is a definite "cash clientele" vibe here, but hey, I'm a cash user, so I'm not judging. read more

They actually take Apple Pay! Two major caveats though, they charge you 35 cents to use it, and it must be a debit card! You can use Apple Pay, as long as it is a debit card, and you key in your PIN for the purchase. Also, Apple Pay will only work inside the store, not at the pump. They also installed GSTV on the gas pumps, so you actually can watch TV while you're filling up. A nice concept too, and a few stations around Arizona has installed this system, not only does it show you TV while you're getting gas, but the whole transaction process of using Pay at Pump has improved a lot, thanks to the fact that GSTV requires a huge color screen. No more squinting at a barely readable black and white screen. read more

This place is right around the corner from my house so it's convenient place to go. Funny how I will go out of my way to NOT got to this place. The $.35 debit isn't all that big a deal to me since I do get that there are costs to having a credit card machine. I still think it's a bad idea since I also know how easy it is to roll these costs into the price of products by raising the costs of items inside by a $.3-.5 But hey, that's just good business. Something these people have no idea about. Speaking of the owner and staff, well, that's actually a factor in the one star. Normally I don't care when people aren't fond of their job. I get it, working customer service can suck sometimes. But this goes beyond that. It's almost like contempt of the customer. The owner and staff are rude and pretty much act like they are doing you a favor. Look buddy, I'm buying gas from you. Something I could literally do right down the road. So unless your stuff is some sort of super fuel that last twice the distance, drop the tude. So yesterday I'm out of gas and need a quick pump. And as much as I really don't want to, this pump is local. I figure I do $5 and then scoot down the road to a different pump for the rest. Get there and the machine declines my card. What? I get my kid out of the car and go in. I've got cash and just figure I'll do it that way. There's a long line of people waiting to pay. I start listening to the guy a the counter. 2 pumps are actually working and they are trying to orchestrate a line for people to use them. Seriously. By the time I get up there they decided they are going to stop pumping (thanks buddy for the 10 mins of wasted time) and tell everyone inside. I think the worst part about this is that not once did I see them send someone out to put notes on the pumps. That's right, they were still letting people come inside. I assume in hopes that they might buy something. Shady. Seriously shady. Still, I guess this is all my own fault for even trying this place again after they pre-authorized $300 on my debit account for $50 in gas. I always was a slow learner. Well, lesson learned. Seems like some kind of review brigading is going on, so figure I'll leave mine to give an outsider's perspective-- I stopped in, paid for my gas and a soda, got my gas, got my change, and left. Woman conducting my transaction was friendly. I left on the last leg of my vacation, and the car ran fine. I take a star only because the bathrooms were closed, and I really had to go at the time. THE WORST!!! Can I give this company ZERO stars? IN a hurry and almost completely out of gas. Had I not been that low, I would have left halfway through this experience. Not an option so I powered through. 1st, the machine at pump only takes debit and I didn't notice because it's not well posted and I swiped my regular visa. It took forever to get their ridiculous system to cancel and then start a new transaction. Then I swiped my debit card and was notified of the .35 charge for the transaction- sigh - really? Ok, I desperately needed gas and I needed to get to work so I accepted the charge. Then I went to grab pump and there wasn't anything there. I looked around to see if I missed the "closed" sign - nope -- the yellow out of service bag - again, nothing! I got back in the car and pulled forward to the next pump, which was empty (probably because this is such a crappy gas station). This time I couldn't get their computer system to even let me indicate I wanted to pay via debit at the pump - I was never able to swipe my card so I had to go into the station. Talk about zero customer service- I explained to the cashier that there was no nozzle/hose at the pump--her response "really?" I went on to say how inconvenient their system was and twice I told her that if I wasn't on empty, I would have gone elsewhere. At no time did she apologize. I really don't usually complain, I just take my business elsewhere but this place was so ridiculous and this was such an aggravating experience that everyone should be warned. I never use my debit at a gas station because my credit card was compromised at a gas station. Had I used a debit card, my checking account would have been drained. With my credit card I was able to dispute charges, file a report and my card was refunded. With a checking account, it takes much longer to get your funds back, in fact my bank told me to never use a debit card at the gas pump because of the frequency of fraud. Shame on this Arco station for refusing credit cards and putting people's checking accounts at risk. Skimmers are notorious at gas stations, if my bank knows this, the gas stations most certainly know it too. I will never go back to this Shithole Arco station --frankly, they give Arco stations a bad name. I will avoid Arco whenever possible after this experience. read more

Went here to fill up about 5 gallons of gas here for a Polaris RZR. Caution, Debit card users will have to pay a 35cent fee! Okay, that didn't get me too upset, but what did was the inconvenience of printer paper out of order. Had to spend 60 seconds waiting for an employee to get to the register to hand me my receipt. The employee who did this was very rude and she didn't look like she was enjoying her job at all or my presence. I will never come back to this gas station ever again, unless it's nearby when I'm about to hit empty, other than that, whoever owns this needs to have that employee ro-go through customer service training and how to refill some receipt paper for the gas stations. This place is terrible. The employees are always in a down mood, never acknowledge people. And always something up with the card pin pads. Also debit only with a fee. This last time that I went my chop wasn't reading and the pad prompted me to swipe. But the employee insisted that it could only work with chip. Ended up leaving with nothing. read more

I drive a lot. My pet peeve is when the gas station does not even have the common courtesy to provide the customers with a decent bathroom. This gas station has bathrooms but they were cordoned off by a yellow plastic chain. After purchasing a tank of gas I asked if it would be possible to use the bathroom but was told emphatically no.
