Well, Erwin and Ricardo came through and were able to update my outdated Sub-Panel (actually 2) and install my new Emporia Pro Level 2 EV Charger with the Power Smart Load Management System on my 100Amp Service at a fair price. The work was started and completed in one day efficiently. They were also able to help me set up and connect the App and give me the basics to get started juicing up my vehicle same day. Their enthusiasm for their work performed along with the extras prove to be a formative staple in there customer service which will no doubt keep them busy for years to come. My wife and I will definitely share their business with friends in need of work and will definitely look to their expertise in the future. Thanks Guyz TnJC read more

I highly recommend Ricardo and Erwin's electrical company! They are licensed, bonded, offer reasonable rates, and provided outstanding service from start to finish. We needed three hard-wired smoke detectors installed as soon as possible, and they responded quickly and were able to schedule us right away. Ricardo and Erwin were professional, polite, and knowledgeable. Their work was excellent, and they took the time to clean up the work area before leaving. In addition, they completed the work in a timely manner. If you're looking for reliable electricians who provide quality workmanship, fair pricing, and exceptional customer service, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ricardo and Erwin. Purchase some garage lights recently and really do not have the right tools or the know how to install. The lights are labeled as a DIY but felt more comfortable with some professional help. Fairly new to Hollister and didn't know where to start, I Contacted Amperage Electric to inquire if they do small jobs like this. Ricardo emphasize there is no job small for them. He is very professional and very transparent. He promptly schedule an appointment with me to get an idea of what the project will entail which is a very good sign imo. He is prompt on the timing and explaining to me in details what my options are and the cost of each route. With his approach I can confidently say I was comfortable with the results Amperage Electric will produce. On the day of the installation, Ricardo and Erwin came on time armed with all the necessary tools to get the work knocked out. Both have the same positive work ethic of transparency. At the end they exceeded my expectations and well worth the reasonable rates they charge. If you need some honest opinion about your projects as well as honest work don't hesitate to contact Amperage Electric. I will definitely contact them in the future for all my electrical needs. Keep up the awesome work guys! read more

Had a really good experience with Amperage Electric. Ricardo came out to help with a room that kept tripping and losing power. It was one of those issues that wasn't obvious, but he took his time and really worked through it instead of guessing. He ended up tracking the problem from upstairs all the way down to a downstairs smoke detector. That meant crawling through the attic and following the wiring step by step. Definitely not an easy job, and I appreciated the effort he put in to actually find the root cause. Ricardo was polite, professional, and easy to talk to. You can tell he knows what he's doing. I've already recommended him to a colleague and wouldn't hesitate to call Amperage Electric again. read more

I contacted Ervine at Amperage Electric for the Tesla wall connector issues. My charger had been stopped during the charging and tripped the breaker every 10 minutes after reset. Ervine arrived on time and diagnosed the issues and suggested to replace the breaker and wires. He even drove back to his shop and came back with the new wires in the same day to replace them since he didn't carry the 60A wires with him. It works without issues after the repairs. Thanks Ervine and Ricardo for their professional job to solve my issues so I could charge my car for next day's trip to work. I highly recommended Amperage Electric for your home or office's electrical problems or installations. read more

I have inquired to at least 4 contractors (thumbtack and yelp) and they are the cheapest I could've find so I immediately booked them. Others are charging me almost 4x on what they charged me. They installed our Pottery barn chandelier efficiently yet fast. I love how it turned out. So pretty! They are also punctual and responsive. I am planning to use them again in our future home projects. Highly recommended. read more

We got quotes from 2 companies and we were very glad we went with Edwin and R. E and R had great customer service, great workmanship and were very reasonably priced. They didn't use shoes in our house, cleaned up after themselves and the final installation work was excellent. They gave us the exact lights we wanted (I was very picky because I had some very particular interior design looks i wanted in 3 different rooms which took in total about 12 lights). The other company that i had invited to give a quote had over twenty 5 star reviews but they were extremely rude, quoted exorbitant prices and tried talking me into the lights they thought were best! As i said before, give E and R a shot. Their partnership is less than a year old but each of them independently has 6-7 years of experience installing lights. read more

We first contacted Amperage March 31, when they enthusiastically said they could install an EV charger for us. We set up an appointment and AFTER they said they'd be here, they apologized that they had an emergency and could not make it. I understand that emergencies happen sometimes and accepted their apology. We set up another appointment for today, April 10. Less than an hour before the appointed time, received a message saying "I apologize for the short notice as well but it's not looking like we will be able to service you. We are extremely sorry for having you in hopes that we would come evaluate and are very aware that this is very unprofessional." They might be the best electricians in the world, but not only did they not show up, they gave me no time to reschedule my own time. I'm extremely disappointed and am only giving them two stars (not one!) because their apologies were so nicely written. read more

Extremely satisfied with the professionalism and service from Amperage Electric and Ricardo. I coordinated an install for some outdoor floodlight and camera. He was knowledgeable and experienced enough to know exactly how to install the items. He had no issues at all, and was able to install everything very quickly. There was a small item that could have made the install complete that I didn't have, he even went all the way to Ace hardware to try to get it, but they were out. Overall I am extremely satisfied and will continue to use their services for the remaining projects I have. read more

Highly recommended. Very fast response, came to my house for a free estimate within the same day, and provided a very competitive quote along with a very detailed invoice. Seems they are new to the business so # of reviews are quite low, but the way they inspect / review and explain things gave me a lot of confidence in them. On the day they promised to start the work, they showed up right on time and the work quality is great. It took a bit longer than estimated but they get the job done wonderfully (by the way I hired them to install a 240v EV charger). They definitely earned their 5-star and next time I need an electrician, I know who to call. read more

They installed Tesla home charger. Very professional and went through various options. Very satisfied!

Erwin and Ricardo were a pleasure to work with. We worked most of our quoting online where I sent pictures and Erwin was resourceful enough to draw pictures back to confirm what he was going to do with my layout. I installed a 240v 14-50 outlet, which I am going to use for my EV. Erwin was patient and informative to educate me on what my electric consumption will demand and how I can go about my usage. Their work was fast, professional and clean. I would recommend them! read more

Irwin Gomez, the business owner responded shortly after sending out a request for services. He provided a quote and time he would be at my residence to perform his work. He was punctual upon arriving and very courteous. I showed him the problem and other ares needed to see in order to find the solution. To my fortune he found the problem quickly and replaced the faulty plug, replacing and putting everything back as he found it. I needed a Tesla charger installed outside our home. I used Yelp to get multiple quotes from local electricians, but I decided to go with Amperage for their reasonable rates & prompt response. I'm so glad I did as Edwin & Ricardo were pleasant to work with and are both very knowledgeable. The day after our charger was installed, we noticed lights flickering all over our house and no power on some of the outlets. So we thought it was caused by our new charger. My husband immediately called Amperage as it was an emergency, and they showed up the same day. After a thorough inspection, they found out that one of the PG&E power line completely broke off from the back of our house, and it had nothing to do with the charger. After PG&E came to fix the line, all the power in our house was restored. It's been two weeks, and the charger is working perfectly. Please support small businesses and give these guys a chance. I highly recommend them! read more

Requested quotes for replacement of two light fixtures in my bathroom. Erwin and Ricardo messaged with a very competitive rate and a 1/2 hour window for arrival.
