They seem to stay up to date with the ever changing tax laws, which makes me feel comfortable with their practices and the advice they give. If you are a business owner who needs a CPA to make sure you cross your t's and dot your i's, Price & Price is a good bet. They have always been prompt at returning any calls or emails with business questions I've had. Their office is fairly easy to get to if you live in the Humble/Kingwood area, although besides dropping off your initial paperwork, everything else is handled via email, fax or mail. Staff is friendly and pricing is fair and comparable to other similar services in the area . A word of advice though - they are a very busy firm, so get all your documentation to them as early as possible in the tax year. We generally have to wait 6-8 weeks on average to get our taxes file from the time we drop everything off.

I may be required to get a second opinion to review my prior periods taxes to ensure that I have no interest or penalties that I may be liable for in the future. my opinion based on my experience not hearsay I would not recommend this firm. just to add their basic policy as I know it is they hold your tax returns hostage until you pay. in my case I don't know whether or not he's filed the state tax returns I don't know if I'm going to have any penalties or interest on any of this and I don't appreciate the fact that they don't even tell you when they finished or if they finished and if they've corrected what they're supposed to correct in my case it's the filing of the state of Massachusetts income tax forms for four maybe five years. my recommendation based on the fact that they haven't done what they what I pay them for and that there they are doubling my fee I would not use them or would not recommend them to anyone filing any taxes in the Kingwood area

The second year they wanted to charge us around $1,000 for our taxes. We talked them down a bit. We paid. Come to find out after going to another company for our 2025 taxes due to their high costs there were errors made on our taxes such as student credits not being applied, deductions not being taken, we did not have a formal sit down with any of the CPA's, we dropped off our papers and then picked up copies. This last year they printed our copies on double sided paper which was a pain to have to sort and review through. With such high fees one would think we would get a nice binder or at least single sided paper. We called to ask for our tax amendments and they were not able to give us a cost to amend them over the phone, we had to submit documentation to them online. We decided to go somewhere else to amend our taxes. It is partially our fault for not doing our due diligence and cross checking their work but when we pay such high fees for a CPA we expect for things to be done right and to be contacted if there were any questions or concerns. I'll give you an example, they wanted about $1,000 to do our taxes last year, we went to HR Block and got them done correctly with maximized deductions and a sit down meeting for $400. There are online companies that can do it for even less. I would stay clear of this tax place. High prices with subpar work. The bright side and two stars versus one star is that Nonna and Joseline are courteous and kind when we have spoken with them. We hope others have better experiences but we want to help share our experiences to help others as well.

Kingwood Management Association: Customer Service Apparently on a Lunch Break…read moreAfter receiving no response to my emails to Ethel, whom I understand to be the person who "owns" Kingwood Management Association, I decided to stop by in person to obtain information needed to move forward with a concern I have. I was told by Dodie (spelling unconfirmed) that Ethel was at lunch and that the information I needed could be found on the association's website. There was just one small problem: the website did not appear to be secure. Being directed to an apparently unsecured website when seeking official information from a management association was not exactly reassuring. One might reasonably expect better. Let's review the experience so far: * Responsiveness: My emails have gone unanswered. * Customer service: My in-person visit did little to inspire confidence. * Professionalism: The interaction struck me as unfriendly and dismissive. * Problem-solving: I was directed to a website that raised its own concerns rather than receiving a clear answer to my inquiry. I realize that managing an association involves responsibilities. But communication with the people the association serves ought to be among them. Homeowners should not have to play detective, make repeated inquiries, and show up in person simply to obtain basic information. The irony is hard to miss: management is supposed to manage, not turn a straightforward request into an exercise in persistence. To be clear, I am not giving up. I will continue making reasonable attempts to obtain the information I requested and a substantive response to my concern. I expect the same basic courtesy, transparency, and professionalism that any homeowner should be able to expect from an organization serving the community. Apparently, getting an answer is going to require more effort than asking the question. I will keep a record of my attempts and proceed accordingly.
