Fast forward two and a half years and I was relying on Mark daily to assist me with the biggest, and only claims I've made in my insurance life. My wife and I had a total loss house fire that also melted both of our vehicles that were in the garage. Once the fire department had settled things, I gave Mark a call. He very calmly handled the situation and even went as far as to conferencing in the claims department while he stayed on the line to ensure that the claim was being handled properly and quickly. Just a few quick hours later Mark had us all set up with our rental car, and hotel accommodations for a short term solution.
When it was time for the adjuster to come and inspect the damage, Mark was willing to meet me at the property at the same time to ensure it was taken care of properly.
For the longer, short term solution, Mark was able to help find us a pet friendly house available for rent. It was great to finally get our dogs back after such a tragedy. The State Farm team partners with other companies to ensure you have everything you need necessary to live in a temporary living situation. Cookware, dinnerware, bedding, etc. The system in place works exactly how it should.
In the end my wife and I were able to rebuild a new home on our same piece of property we have grown to love. We were also able to replace our appliances, furnishings, clothing, etc. for the home. This is all because Mark was knowledgeable about the type of policy we would need should disaster arise, and he was willing to go above and beyond to make sure everyone on the team was handling things correctly. Mark was always available via call, text, or email. The other staff in his office are just as great and helpful. I never thought that shopping around for a lower rate would impact my life as much as the decision to switch to Mark at State Farm. Cannot recommend Mark and his team enough!
