Lots of food vendors and little shops on the far side, I found some seasoning, and a Nashville spot where I go mini moon pies and stickers. Spent some time looking at the great designs for t-shirts and sweatshirts at Hug a Farmer stand. I ended up with a great olive-green t-shirt with an outline of the Nashville skyline. The vendor was so nice, and I love the shirts were Comfort Colors as they hold up really well.

The plant area was a bit decimated when we went this time. It's not surprising since we had a horrible ice storm recently. I bet they suffered some loss there. Normally it's a bright vibrant place full of lots of flowers and plants. I love browsing the area.

For a small city of 150k they have a pretty robust and well attended farmers market. For a while I was jealous as it was just as big as some of them in Indianapolis, IN of nearly 900k. My number 1 judge of a good farmers market is the amount and diversity of produce. They don't let down here in Clarksville, plenty of produce and lots of variety. There are plenty of crafts and other things but a good amount of produce. The only downside with this market is that it can get very busy and parking is limited right near it so be prepared to possibly park a few blocks away. This was our first time picking here, and I'd say it was a success! They have several patches and lots of berries that weren't super over-picked yet. I *think* it was roughly $2.75 per pound. There is a little playground for kids-- to include swings, a tunnel slide, and a sand pit. They also have one of those cute signs you stick your head in for photo ops. There's a large pavillion with several picnic tables located next to the family's homemade ice cream truck. Ice cream was $6 a bowl, and if I remember correctly, they had vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and banana ice cream. Lemonade was donation based. They have a small shop up front on the property, but we came closer to closing time, so I didn't want to bother anyone by going inside. I'd definitely like to go back to check it out, though! There are 2 port-a-potties on site, and both were relatively clean/smelled okay for being the end of the day. There was a hand washing station outside. All in all, I had a really positive experience and would go back!

I was by myself since my husband was working but did a quick walk around to see what they had (didn't really have intentions of buying anything, just wanted to see what it was like). They had a nice variety of produce and even some meats and cheeses that I am hoping to try in the future. There were many homemade goods (jewelry, soap, leather goods, knives) and a little cafe that I didn't check out too closely. The area was pretty packed with vendors and customers so I tried to keep moving since I wasn't paying. From my brief first glance, their prices were better than many farmers markets I've been to but still more than Kroger. The cafe looked incredibly cute and smelled good so I'm excited to go back and try it! My only complaint from my trip (which may change if I go again and am not alone) was that it was pretty cramped and hard to just walk through and look without every vendor stopping you and trying to seek their product to you. I probably wouldn't have minded if I had money to spend but my budget was out for the week. I mainly just wanted to look and get an idea what prices were so that I could go back and get the goods. I do expect my opinion to change (in a good way) when I go back, so I'll update my review as appropriate when I do!
