El otro día, cuando pasamos por la puerta de The Great India nos atrajo el olor a buena comida hindú que nos encanta. Le preguntamos a un vecino de mis padres si lo conocía y nos dijo que él ha comido allí varias veces y que es muy bueno. Nuestra experiencia no pudo haber sido mejor, empezando por el servicio, y terminando por la calidad de la comida. Comimos dentro porque tienen aire acondicionado y en la terraza de fuera hacía calor. El extenso menú/carta tenía opciones para todos los gustos y dietas (platos vegetarianos, platos con gambas, pollo y otros tipos de carne). Primero nos trajeron un aperitivo de la casa con tres salsas diferentes de mango, menta y picante para poner en una especie de pan plano muy fino y muy rico. Pedimos "garlic naan" (pan con ajo) con la comida y vino calentito y bien hecho. Mi marido pidió King Prawn Korma (la salsa está para chuparse los dedos, y tienen la opción vegetariana de la misma). Las chicas pedimos Chicken Tikka Masala que se deshacía en la boca y con la salsa auténtica que hemos comido en California antes (perfecta). Mi amigo pidió Chicken Balti (creo) con ajo. Nunca lo había probado antes y estaba muy bueno. Antes de todo eso, compartimos el "Assorted Plate," plato grande en la sección de aperitivos que contiene una variedad de cosas deliciosas, unas vegetarianas y otras con pollo que merece la pena si es un grupo de 4 o más (sería mucho para dos). Disfrutamos mucho la comida y bebida, y tuvimos una experiencia excelente. El restaurante, la comida y el servicio merecen las 5 estrellas, y es un lugar al que tanto mis amigos como nosotros pensamos regresar :)

The portion size was perfect, we finished everything and felt quite full, no room for dessert. Our garlic naan was very good as well. The service was fast and the setting is casual.
