A suburban family run pizza style restaurant that perhaps offers a little more than some of the same style restaurants in similar settings. It has some outdoor seating, enough room in or out for a group, a large menu with a few options other than pizza and pasta, and a small/standard drinks menu. Having said that it's somewhat out dated and drab in appearance and probably caters mainly to local clientele, despite being on a relatively busy arterial link road.
Our pizzas were quite nice, with well cooked bases with just the right amount of toppings albeit a little too cheesy, and the mussels in a classic Italian chilli tomato sauce quite tasty and well presented. We chose two bottles of wine off the menu and for both were advised they had sold out the previous evening. Our final choice was 2 glasses only, of a third wine. The kids gelati, from their gelati bar, was well received. Both of the waiters were young, one more experienced than the other, but they did their best and will only get better. Standard prices, not cheap, and possibly best as a take away rather than a sit down restaurant. If I felt like pizza and wasn't far away....I'd go back. read more
