I moved over to the open window trying to point at what I wanted to purchase and he yelled at me "I am on this side" which was two feet away . Then he starts going off on me and start yelling at me from behind the counter. he literally wanted to fight me?!? He was violent. The other attendant immediately came out profusely apologized to me and told him to stop and asked him why he was talking to me like that way and behaving crazy. She heard the whole conversation and was so embarrassed and apologetic. I was baffled and upset. This guy most definitely has a mental issues. Someone needs to address this before this guy attacks and harms somebody. This is a very nice neighborhood, it is a very upscale tourist destination, this place marks a very bad impression on the tourists. Stay away from this place, never know what you are going to deal with.

I've been here a few times leaving the beach and you always feel the need to lock the doors and make sure no one is looking to snatch your baby to sell for meth. Besides that it's your standard gas station mini-mart. Prices are unremarkable.

I've been here since 2009 and the store has looked the exact same but excessively deteriorated. Water has been in the gas since Hurricane Michael. You'd think that when Chevron bought this gas station, they'd demolish this and completely rebuild it for a much nicer place. Also I kid you not, there are potholes all over the parking lot. There's only like 6 spots to park in, you gotta park near the ice machine or grass in order to park. The "parking spot" near the ice machine was recently flooded due to rain and it got my car muddy too. Seems there's no drains in the parking lot. The earliest I remember this parking lot with potholes was 2018, before Hurricane Michael actually. I don't even care about the size of the gas station, I could deal with smaller if it was nicer. Not only that but there's literally card skimmers in the gas pumps and store. If you dreadfully go here, only tap your phone to ensure your credit card information isn't leeched. Cars and cards being destroyed here. I don't care that there's only 4 pumps, I'd rather have a nice gas station with 4 pumps than this gas station with 20 pumps. Do not fill your car here, ever. I promise if your gas is critically low, it's worth risking 2 extra miles. This store is only good for conveniently getting stuff near the beach, just a pain to find parking and it's uncomfortable to drive through. Shades doesn't deserve people parking there just for people to be going to this cesspool. If you want gas, please just please drive a bit longer elsewhere. Or if you hate your vehicle, be my guest. At least 10+ vehicles are in the shop as of this week because of water being in their gas. Since it's been 2018 with water in their gas, no telling how many vehicles have been destroyed. I didn't review earlier because I'd think that at some point it'd be fixed but it hasn't. If you go to this store, only buy products from them. Just expect to have a rocky ride in and out of there. Please use your phone to tap or give cash when paying, I wouldn't trust tapping my card on their registers. At least they got some things in stock right by the beach and east 30A. Also expect to get taxed because their prices are ludicrously excessive. It was $6 for a coffee energy drink when it's like $4 elsewhere. Just demolish this store, destroy the parking lot, and build something much nicer.

Honestly, I wouldn't stop here on my own accord. There were two gas pumps, outdated, the parking lot was small and torn up, and the attached store looked sketch. We thankfully got our gas (scrapped the bottom of the car while exiting) and got out. Hope we never have to come here again.

No worries because I was going to go in to use the restroom anyway. Also while at the pump we saw an associate picking up trash around the property. A+! When entering the associate at the register acknowledged and smiled at us. Loved that! I went to use the restroom while my husband prepaid for the gas which was 3.99/gal vs Exxon across the street for 4.37/gal!?! There are two stalls in the restroom but one was out of order.. I decided to go into the hall to wait because it is tight in there. The associate who was picking up trash earlier, now I'm assuming is an owner, saw me, smiled, and told me I can use the men's restroom. It was clean but I told him I'd wait. No rush. The women's restroom was clean and the hand blower was very strong so I was able to get in and out quickly. Very happy with our experience at this gas station. So happy I had to go out my way. This is also not our first time here and will not be our last!
