I got my breast implants here back in November 2008. Here are a few tips when picking a surgeon and…read morewhy I went with here. 1) Price/payment plans. I was recommended to another doctor at GW however was informed he took no payment plans. Now some might cry "low budget" however keep in mind surgery is upwards to $10K and I don't know about you, but I don't have that chilling in my bank account. Here they do accept payment plans that are contracted through CapitalOne medical and they also accept care credit. Kudos to them for thinking outside of the box. 2) Staff: When you get implants, you have to back a bazzillion times for check ups and 99% of the time you're meeting with the surgeon's nurse staff. The nurse staff here is awesome, kind, compassionate, all of the adjectives that describe what a good nurse should be. 3) Quality: While I do like my implants, I wish they looked more fake. I know, I'm a weird-o. My implants look natural. NO ONE can tell they're fake. If you want the porn star crazy look don't come here because Dr. Freedman will make them look natural. Overall I am happy with my experience here and would recommend Plastic Surgery Associates of Northern Virginia to anyone looking to get a little more on top.

I was you a month ago... thinking, contemplating, mulling it over... Well, STOP thinking about it…read moreand do it!!! I am soooooo happy I finally did! Last year, challenged by a friend, I changed my eating habits and began to lose weight... -100 pounds later and I am looking awesome... but, I was left with bat wings/granny arms. I kept talking about "having my arms done"... Finally I decided it was time - it's almost summer and I longed to be able to wear sleeveless dresses and shirts. I researched top plastic surgeons in my area and made three separate consultation appointments. I was so nervous at my consultation (hind sight 20/20, I had nothing to be nervous about). Dr. Freedman and his nurse Elizabeth are really down-to-earth, professional, and caring people. We talked about what I wanted, Dr. Freedman explained and showed me what my arms would look like, Elizabeth answered all the what-ifs and questions I had. I didn't feel rushed during my consultation. I left that consultation with a spring in my step, feeling uplifted - it was apparent that they knew what they were doing and did it well. After the three consultations with different plastic surgeons, I chose Dr. Freedman - and I am sooooo happy I did! The reason I chose Dr. Freedman over the other plastic surgeons is because he was confident without being arrogant - because he took the time to answer my questions, didn't make me feel like I was stupid, and didn't make me feel rushed or that I was a burden - because he didn't try to up-sell me on things I didn't need - because he genuinely cared about me and my journey - because Elizabeth is knowledgeable, warm, and caring - and because his staff is professional and courteous. Fast forward - I had brachioplasty surgery. It took about four hours from the time I went to the office until the time I was discharged. I am soooo happy with my arms - they are absolutely beautiful! My incisions are healing well and my scars are thin lines. If I had it to do all over again, I would only do one thing different... I would have gone to Dr. Freedman six months ago when I started talking about "having my arms done."

Skin laxity under and over the eyes and some fine lines here and there! Well I'm glad I did. I am 7 days out and I'm here to say it's not as bad as you think after watching all those YouTube videos. Dr Rostami, Alyssa and staff made me very comfortable during the entire process. Local numbing and an oral pain killer and we were ready to rock and roll. The entire process was fast and while I will say there were a few areas that were more uncomfortable than others, but it is tolerable!! I went home and followed all of the (provided) skin care routine and one week out it's looking pretty darn good. I'm not red like you see in those videos and most parts of my treated areas have gone from a sandpaper feel to nice and soft. I can't speak to the results as it is too soon but I can speak to the fear of getting it done. I cannot wait to see the results! And my research tells me the results will just keep getting better over time. I will update.

Thankfully, the discoloration - which I've had for decades - was considered to be nothing by Dr. Rostami. However, I didn't appreciate having to wait for an hour for this brief consult. Nor did I appreciate the doctor trying to upsell me by telling me I have rosacea because my skin on my nose and cheek is little red sometimes. I was told I owed nothing, but now am being charged for the visit. All in all, not a good experience.

Dr. Gottlieb is one of the best doctors I have ever had, and I have had quite a few in my years. At…read moremy first consultation for breast reduction, she was extremely thorough examining me as well as explaining the process and some things that can or will happen after the procedure. She doesn't sugarcoat it and even says that some people will not have it done due to some of the reasons she provided. I feel doing it that way makes me really listen because she is emphasizing everything and she wants to make sure you understand everything. She is extremely smart with an unbelievable education and seems to me that she really loves her job, especially breast reductions! When you decide to do it and your insurance is approved, the staff sets the surgery date. I only had to wait 2 weeks and had many choices as they told me that even if it wasn't her day to go into the hospital for surgeries, and if that she wasn't fully booked for appointments, she would try to make an accommodation for you. Before the surgery, you come in for an 1 1/2 or 2 hrs to go over the pre-op, op, and post-op procedures and expectations with both her and one of the staff. She also reviews with you what YOU want done. Some surgeons only do what they want to do and really don't listen. Not her!! My husband came with me to that and learned a lot and they all took the time to explain it thoroughly and answered all of our questions patiently! I feel that she doesn't rush the appointment and is extremely nice! Also, even though she spends quality time with her patients, it seems that you don't wait very long at all either in the waiting room or the examining room. I really hate when you are put in the examining room only to sit 20 mins or so without knowing when the "doctor will be in shortly...." per the nurse at other doctors' offices. Maybe they don't schedule too many people to allow her the time? I just know it works as I have been there 4 times for this process so far with very little waiting. The surgery has been a complete success!!!!! I am only 2 weeks post-op and my stitched areas are all healed. She even said I could go into the water now which was extremely surprising as I am supposed to go to Cancun 6 weeks post-op and was concerned I would heal in time for that. I have reviewed forums on breast reductions and the horror stories and pictures are opposite of what I have had so far. My scars look like some of the people after several months since their procedure. Oh, did I forget to mention my breasts look awesome? I am 50 years old and they are not only smaller, but way perkier, like I was in my 20s again. She is conscience to not only listening to what your goals are, but also stresses that she will also try to make it proportionate to your body. I highly recommend Dr. Gottlieb for any plastic surgery needs based on my experience, as well as other reviews I have seen. It is so gratifying to have such a caring, well-educated and highly skilled doctor! Very rare, indeed.

On the website they mention Dr. David is an eyelid specialist (Chalazion). Scheduled an appointment…read moreto see him about my chalazion on my eyelids. After introducing himself, he said medically he can't do anything cuz it's an oil build up. He give me 2 option (which I already knew) warm compress which I was already doing and removal with 90% success rate. I asked if there was another option such as cream or avoid using makeup or change anything, he said no. I asked what causes it, he said he has no idea. It was the most useless/waste of time appointment ever. I left with the same knowledge I already knew. Maybe they need to update their website about Dr. David's specialty cuz he had no idea what causes Chalazion or how to cure it, also to avoid others from wasting their time and money. So if you have Chalazion on your eyelids do warm compress or they will remove it with 90% success rate. There saved you a trip and money.

Apparently that's separate from their office billing. What? Literally called me up 9 months later telling me I had an outstanding balance. Doctors were great but the front end team and the way they handled billing is garbage and sleazy! So just watch out when you are checking out with them at the front desk and paying! Make sure you get a full detailed invoice/ statement from the billing manager herself, Nellie. Their service staff is so untrained and misinformed.

Mother Nature and Father Time is cruel, and if you're unlucky to be born with an ugly mug like me,…read moreonly to be aged further like a raisin then why not take things into your own hands. Just kidding, we all know beauty is only skin deep, and if you're the kind of person where ugly goes down to the bone, a simple face lift ain't going to help. Kidding aside, I didn't come here for a face lift, but did come with someone who is thinking about it. You might already guess I'm not a fan of these types of things. Just something so superficial about it....but I guess there's a market for this place. The staff was very friendly, and the waiting area is nice. Get ready to watch a lot of Golden Girls though. I wasn't sure if they purposely played it, but it would be an uncanny coincidence. At least you have your choice of coffee or tea as you wait. I would not recommend making an appointment at the tail end of their business hours. We had to wait in the cold for a couple of minutes while we tried to figure out how to get into the building. Apparently someone had to come and unlock the front door. I can't say I'm a fan, but I can certainly say they were nice and professional.

I was curious about it since I had heard so many friends talking bout their commercials. I was impressed with the clean lobby/waiting area and the friendly staff. I was with her when she talked over the optional procedures and we talked t over on the ride home. I ended coming back a few weeks later for my own consult and had a lower facelift and the bottom eyes done. This time my sister came with as a driver and for support. The surgery is performed while sitting mostly upright in a examination room chair. I think that may have been why the swelling was minimal. Dr. used novocaine a local anesthesia and I had no pain during the surgery. Keeping icepacks on for the ride home kept the swelling down too (I brought frozen peas in a cooler since my ride home was over an hour.) I wish I had filled my prescription before that day since the ride was long & then I had to wait in the car for my pain meds and I was too uncomfortable for that. Later that day and the next, there was some pain & bruising. For several days I could not be active at all. I stayed with my sister for a few days so that my great nieces & nephews could walk the dog for me. No lifting... No bending... No anything that will cause you to strain. On the 4th day went home and pampered myself and I healed in 10 days. My results??? Fantastic!! Very natural but I did look about 10 years younger! That was in March 2005 and have always said that this procedure was so satisfactory, that I would return when I felt I was ready. Well I'm ready!! I am now considering going back in for another consultation. I just feel I need a touch up on the chin area and lower face. I recommend Lifestyle Lift as an alternative to the full anesthesia face lift..
