This is what happened to me - They kept emailing me and I replied telling them they had the wrong person. They acknowledged, but then continued to email me their client's sensitive information about their home inspection. They even emailed me the 48 page Home Inspection Report afterward. Incredibly unprofessional and I feel very badly for their client... I'm hoping this review will get their attention. Edit: In regards to your reply - this is simply not true, Paul or Craig, or whoever you are. I understand that you are trying to save face for your business, but I can reference the 6 other emails I continued to receive from Pillar to Post, and 1 email from the actual home inspector himself (John), AFTER the first email I received from you where I had first stated I was the wrong person. One of the emails you sent me allowed me to log onto a website and virtually sign a legally binding contract stating that I agreed with the outcome of the inspection. I don't think your client would appreciate knowing you sent this to a stranger and could have legally bound her to something. In my inbox I now have a new email from Pillar to Post asking me to rate my experience with the company and home inspection. Needless to say I rated my experience a 0. Paul-or-Craig, 8 emails on 8 separate occasions were sent to me after the fact that I stated I was the wrong person, so it clearly makes it seem that nothing had been updated on your end and I was not indeed removed from the mailing list. Because of this I also have reason to believe that your client was not told about the extent of what you sent me by mistake. I have now marked Pillar to Post as "spam" so I won't continue to receive your poor client's mail. Your reply to me stating that you "immediately" updated your information makes me feel that this company is not only unprofessional, but also incredibly irresponsible and untrustworthy.
