It's a lovely green park with walking trails, a playground, picnic pavilion, restrooms, water fountains, plentiful parking, and more. While we were there, we saw a steady stream of people walking their dogs (on leash), parents pushing their kids on the playground swings, teenagers cutting through at the end of the school day, and more. A very nice and relaxing outdoor area for the people of Maryville.

This is a beautiful park with lots of large old growth shade trees with well maintained walking trails. The grounds are cared for and the area is safe for families to enjoy. What a lovely park! We've been making our rounds to all of the parks in the area and this one was…read moreperfect to explore in the morning before it gets lava hot. Many mature trees and the surrounding pond cool down the playground area. There is ample parking and a large restroom facility which are both convenient. Pavilion area that you can rent and a few docks jutting out into the water are nice touches, as is the extensive walking trail that goes around the park and surrounding neighborhoods. As for the play area, it is well-maintained and there is a large sandbox that is clearly very popular (hence, why I didn't take a photo with so many littles enjoying it). The playset has lots of stationary toys on it as well as an abundance of slides. The swing area is separated from the playground and has some unique swing options. Note that the sandbox and playground is directly next to the pond, so if you get high anxiety with young kiddos around bodies of water or have runners, you may want to forgo this park (or at least ensure you have an extra set of eyes/hands with you).

The younger kids…read moreparks are mostly shaded; but I am disappointed that as my children get older, they will be in full sun. The greenway is mostly shaded and we love walking along there. There's also ducks and baby ducks....it's just full of wildlife. Most of the benches are nice but there are some that need to be attended to. The trash cans are taken care of and seem to have plenty in the area. We will continue to come here for many more years!!!

We came to this venue as part of a private birthday party event that was booked for one of my good…read morefriends kiddos - and it was a great space for the crowd size and number of kids. The staff was nice and helpful around while the party was going on, and the venue itself was clean and everything was nice and tidy (at least before the kids got into stuff, ha!). I would say on our observation that this would probably be more ideal for 5-10 based on the amount of amenities they offered for play based on the size and skill needed to do some of them (e.g. arcade games, skeeball basketball goals, air hockey). While some of the infant and toddlers area did have it gated in with a few things it felt less of an experience for 5 and under. That said, it was still perfect for a private event. We'll definitely be planning something here and try to come back and update the review once we see how it is in a typical day for the public to use the space.
