Eric, the owner, gave a great tutorial on how to use their equipment. We chose our games and let the competition begin. You guys. This Y is ok. Needs to upgrade equipment as stuff there has been there since opening. I have…read moreasked for curtains on the shower stalls for 5 years now. No curtains. I mean, how much do curtains cost? Not much. Women do not want to take showers without privacy. I also agree with some of the staff being snarly. There is a little old lady who works in the early morning hours who thinks that she runs the whole YMCA. She is a know-it-all and rude. Suggestions: Place could be a lot cleaner, get new exercise equipment including the curtains in the women's room and give your staff some good customer service tips. Also we sure hope they get to the bottom of their money concerns. We do not join a club to hear that the CEO is crooked.

I've usually only come here to 'tune-up' my shooting before the start of hunting season. However,…read morethis trap club is part of the competition shooting association, the ATA (American Trapshooting Association). I've brought my son along in the past and he's starting to shoot now, too. The owner, Len Janis, is a former world trap shooting champion and incredibly friendly and helpful. This day, I had decided to only bring my 20 gauge, double barrel grouse gun. Bad choice. It was windy, and we were shooting into the wind. Short barrel, open chokes, shooting into the wind with light loads....not a good mix. Len cam eover and gave us some great pointers! We borrowed a 12 gauge competition gun and had a great time blasting boxes of shells and killing clay pigeons. Len was a GREAT help for my son, and actually sponsors a number of young shooters in the region. Can't say enough about this shooting range...just a friendly place to hang out, spend some time outside, and visit with friendly people while shooting trap. Cost? $5 per box of 25, bring your own shells. If you happen to be there while the assistants are there, don't forget the tip!
