Then I called MJ Glass and from the very first interaction to the last, we knew we were in great hands! The owner, Jason, is fully committed to great customer service. He took the time to explain the benefit of a retrofitted slider both in quality and cost. We instantly knew this was the way to go. After having provided a quote over the phone, Jason came out to measure and confirm the price and time line (he even put shoe covers on when entering the house which definitely impressed my mother-in-law). We gave a 50% deposit and 2 weeks later, the door was installed. The technician who did the installation, Tony, was kind and considerate. And the front office team was great about communication always letting us know when a member of their team was on the way. Remembered Glassman to the Rescue when I was doing windows research in the past. They had tons of 5 star Yelp reviews, which is why they were at the top of my contact list. Texted Nancy (the "glass girl" and wife of the Glassman) and she responded very quickly. Carlos the Glassman was able to stop by the same day (within the hour!) and taught me about how to keep the older windows lubricated. He sprayed on some magic stuff and wow, they were like brand new!
