I was introduced to this fitness center through a friend. When I joined the class I was excited. My first class was amazing, at that time I was just doing the MMA kickboxing portion. The class was intense but I knew after one class it would certainly help me reach my physical body goals. I ended up joining the jiu-jitsu class after watching another student during their training. The classes went well but I was witnessing the instructor talk badly about his students and his only helping intructor. He always called people names and belittled them upon their return to class once they missed a session. He always seemed to bully his girlfriend and exuded dominance on every woman in the class. As an owner/business manager/ sensei instructor we trusted him for his professionalism, education and advice. Yet I watched him harass his clients via phone calls, text and facebook over their lack of presence, or their financial obligations. He spoke to his students with such sarcasm and disrespect and most of us were tied into a 3 month contract (which was in the fine print because he advertises it as a month to month obligation but really it's for 3 AND he doesn't provide you with a copy) that we either bought our way out of or paid each month but didn't attend. He also didn't care when a student got hurt....several of his clients including myself became injured and he would tell us to push through it, suck it up and stop complaining. No injuries were just a bump or scratch there was pulled ligaments and sprained ankles. Yet he would rather we continue the class and stop complaining. When things went really sour he and his girlfriend post very vicious and verbally inappropriate posts publically on your page!!! I wish I could copy and paste my own texts between myself and the owner.....but that would take to long to attach. So while the classes themselves were awesome (minus injuries) they aren't worth all the drama that goes along with it. DEFINATELY DON'T waste your time or money on this headache! read more
