After…read morereading several FB reviews, I was hopeful that they could assist me with hormone balance and weight loss. I made an appointment for one of their classes and drove 2 hours to attend. It was advertised as a dinner meeting. At the start of the meeting they announced that they just got word that dinner was not going to be delivered. Interesting that there was no set up or room for anyone to eat dinner, so I question if it was ever in the plan. Hmmm! Throughout the presentation participants were asked how serious individuals were to change their life. It was expressed that if you were serious you would do anything to make changes. It was also expressed that they didn't accept everyone into their practice. At the end of the presentation the pitch was made that for $89 you could fill out paperwork and they would consider you for their practice. After driving two hours and eager to get some assistance, I was ready to make some changes. I filled out paperwork, and stayed overnight for an appt. the next morning. Upon my arrival, I was given a tour of their small office. A "Welcome (my name)" was posted on a chalkboard in the sitting area of the office for all to see. I am sure it would seem personal to some, but felt intrusive to me. I was told once again that Jeanette didn't accept just anyone into their practice. They pointed out six success stories on the wall. I was told I would meet with Jeanette and her husband. Several minutes later my meeting started with Jeanette only. Her husband never joined us. She proceeded to talk about my paperwork and said she had some thoughts on how they could help me. It was alot of talking in circles. No specifics were ever given on the plan she had. I asked questions on different approaches and what food plans (Paleo, Whole Foods, Plant based, Keto, etc.) they would be recommending. She said her approach was more "ancestral"... ???? Again no specifics were given. Many supplements would cost extra. Then the bottom line! Even though I am on no meds and desired assistance with hormone imbalance and weight loss, I was astounded at the bottom line. I was told they would work with me for 6 months (some visits & online videos) and then 3 months maintenance (email & phone calls). Knowing I lived 2 hours away, I wouldn't need to come all that frequently. The cost? $6,000! Insurance was not accepted. If interested, I was encouraged to make a significant down payment that day and make arrangements with their finance company to pay out the rest. Needless to say, this is something I would never do! I did lose $89. As an educated, professional woman the experience felt very deceptive. I am grateful for having a strong spiritual/moral compass in my life. All my internal alarms went off. Perhaps the large price tag was their way of not accepting me into their practice.

Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I did not receive a structured or comprehensive healing plan. Instead, I was given numerous scattered suggestions that felt overwhelming and lacked cohesion. There was also a significant error in my chart--an established diagnosis I've had for 20 years was listed as "non-diagnosed." When I brought this to Dr. Edwards' attention, his response was "that would only be on my chart if I had told them that." This felt unprofessional and dismissive. I also completed an additional test at Dr. Edwards' recommendation after being told it would provide valuable insight. When the results came back, I was told there was "little" to take from them, yet another practitioner later reviewed the same results and offered a much clearer, more actionable interpretation. I raised my concerns about the care I was receiving on two occasions. After the first time, I was scheduled for an appointment, but the outcome was again a list of many suggestions with no real plan. After voicing my concerns a second time, I was removed from the membership. Ultimately, my time and money were not well spent here. I have since found a practitioner who provides a clear, manageable healing plan and truly supportive care. Based on my experience, I would encourage those with chronic or complex health issues to seek care elsewhere if they are looking for thorough guidance, clarity, and follow-through. The level of care initially promised to me was not at all delivered and I felt more like a burden than a cared for patient.

First let me start off by saying I was very skeptical of the AO scan but within the first 15 mins of my appointment I was shocked by how in-depth the scan really was! She puts a headset on your temple and the scan starts reading your body. It doesn't hurt, it's just a sound you hear. You can watch the TV monitor as it goes through your body showing you the tissues, cells, all of it! After the scan is done, she goes over it and talks to you.
