Rankin County Custom did NOT pull a permit for 2 installations on our roof. This is VERY important…read moreand required by law. After less than a year our roof is leaking in several places throughout the house. They lied about the pitch and we had to hire an engineer to 'prove' the pitch to a roofer. The owner begged to do it over and it is still not up to code. Pay close attention to the materials delivered. Make sure to take photos. Do not depend on their aerial photos as they can be altered. Our aerial photos appear to have new decking everywhere! All the same color. On the second installation, the wood suddenly changed colors and didn't look new. A lot of wood rot was covered. Very deceptive. Pay close attention to the number of people on your roof. Take photos. We had 16 people on the roof at the same time, 12 across one ridge of a 400 SF room. One person on the roof spoke broken English. Our home was shifted because of all the weight on the ridges. Our walls are developing cracks because of the additional weight. We have no idea how many layers of decking are on our roof because their drone 'broke' on the second installation. How convenient. We will have to pay for another roof out of pocket. I've asked for a refund and they ignore me. These people will tell you none of this is true, but watch their BBB profile and watch for the Board of Contractors complaint. Why would a roofer intentionally cover wood rot? Why would a roofer lie about the pitch of a roof? Why would a roofer continue to employ someone who willfully defrauded homeowners? A few photos are attached. RCC can call me a liar and I will see them at the state board. Be very careful with this company. The odor of mendacity surrounds them.
