You then told me the cost would be $60 which i thought was reasonable. You proceeded to file my nails as I wanted them a little bit shorter and you asked me if they were OK, they were uneven so you tried again, I had to ask for the file and do it myself. Throughout the entire process, you were rushing and became very impatient. At the pedicure chair you cut my nails, no pedicure and didn't even do that well! So, you charged me $60 for a nail paint on my fingers and to cut my toe nails which seems outrageous to me.. It's not so much the cost, more the disgraceful customer service.. I will never be back! Now I know why Elka nails (My usual salon) was so busy, they couldn't fit me in and you had 1 customer.

Today Hair Salon looked like the next best thing, the salon is fresh and appealing on the outside, clean and professional on the inside. They had time, prices are CHEAP for a nice looking place (just $19 for a ladies cut!) and the girls were really nice and friendly when I came in unexpected and with no appointment. I can't recall who cut my hair, but she did a great job. I only wanted a trim, and she managed that. She didn't cut off too much, she didn't stuff my layers, she kept the style the way my gorgeous Astin has it (Toni K Salons) and she communicated with me constantly to make sure she hadn't gone too far. All in all a pleasing experience. If I didn't already have my own pro, I'd be tempted to go back. Offering nail therapies now including acrylic and gel nails, manicures and pedicures and polishes.

Well in this case, you can. Wanting a set of gel nails, I went here upon seeing it going to one of my fave little cafés just opposite (Cafe all in one). Although it looked bad, the prices in the door were cheap, they didn't look busy and I just really wanted to get them done while I had some time. It looked bad, it was cheap and they weren't busy for a reason. Not one of the Asian nail technicians spoke once to me in English, leaving me wondering what the hell they were talking about, getting animated about and frustratingly sometimes even laughing about. Halfway through I was left sitting there, abandoned by my technician for up to ten minutes before an old guy started taking over. Trying to find out what was going on, I think he communicated she had gone to lunch. Lovely! Needless to say the end result was nasty looking; and because it had been swapped half way through some were to the edge of my nail, others were not, and some fingers were even bleeding around the edge of the nails where they had filed back far too much. My fingers were pretty much rendered useless for the rest of that day and were painful to use for a couple after that. After about four weeks they started peeling and chipping away, my two smallest fingers on both hands nearly had their complete nails torn off because it was like the stupid gel had intertwined in some parts with my real nail, making it impossible to get off and impossibly painful if a piece of gel tore or ripped off, taking a piece of my real nail along with it. I'd pay double the $40 it cost me to have a pain free, mutually communicative experience...anytime.

$40 for first visit mani/pedi. Girls are lovely, tram stop…read moreright outside, called @9am to get an appointment at 2pm (glad I did, was full when I got in). Toe nail polish perfect, fingers could've been cleaned up a little, but no biggy. Smells just like a typical nail joint, but once they kept the door open I got over it. Much the same as most other Asian run nail salons, but it's around the corner from my hairdressers so I'll go back if I need to.
