As soon as we get there, we are greeted with great smiles and a willingness to serve. We had a cheese board to start and ordered a bottle of their "house red wine" which wasn't as strong as I usually like them but the taste was great. Cheese board was great but absolutely not enough meat on the plate guys - Not sure if others have complained about that. The margherita pizza we had smelled amazing as they brought it over and tasted exactly the same but after the 2nd piece, it just lost its fizzle. I love the fact that they sell cigars in-house because I totally forgot to bring any of mine since I had been under the weather to start our visit. One gripe I have to mention is that they absolutely need to hire better musicians. The guy that was playing that night totally murdered every song he was trying to play!

There's a stage set-up for music and other performances so I'm sure this is a cool place to come hang out weekend nights! A sign in their restroom also advertised regular lotería nights too! They also have a large and varied menu, which I think is a plus. The service was awesome. The barista was really friendly and patient and answered a few questions for us to help us decide what to get. The drinks were made promptly and were both delicious. I ordered a small, hot masala chai with milk and loved it! I got it sweetened and it tasted like the milk that's leftover in your cereal bowl when you eat Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I definitely recommend it! I think without it sweetened would also be delicious- the base chai mix is yummy. My boyfriend ordered the espresso and pineapple juice drink. Sounds strange, but tastes great! We were a bit on the fence about trying it and the barista convinced us to go for it- I'm glad she did. It's not very sweet and the espresso is high quality so the drink is really tasty. It's hard to compare it to anything else so I would just recommend trying it if you enjoy the flavor of espresso but maybe don't like drinking it solo or with milk. Loved stopping in here and will definitely be back again to try more of their drinks!

My favorite thing about this shop is the expansive gift shop. It looks like all the stuff is made in China or the Philippines, with no local shells at all. There's some religious literature, in case you need that with your beach visit. There's so many different shell creatures with googly eyes pasted on them, and crosses made out of shells. It's transcendent. Everything seems like it has been priced by hand, and they haven't bothered to change the prices since all this inflation hit us recently.
