Case in point--my son transferred colleges his junior year to Clemson and was referred to another agent when he bought a home in the area. The other agent had insured the prior homeowners and could not be bothered to even call my son, discounting and "discarding" him because he was a young college student, delegating the purchase of the policy to some assistant but of course expecting the commission.
