It's so hard finding anyone trustworthy these days or who does exactly what they say they will. My Experience: I had a newer Pelican Water filtration system that came with my home purchase. It basically sucked. The water was super hard and stinky. I started my research on water filtration systems for wells and learned it's very different than ones for city water which my Pelican was made for, not the well it was on. I contacted the best of the best and got eye-popping crazy high prices and lots of water tests from all of them. Then Mr. Patterson came buy took a hard look at my current system, tested the water, and flexed his awesome knowledge on local well water "Brilliant!!!!" I learned two things that day. 1: Knowing the local water is a must and this guy has been here doing this for decades! 2: He explained the problem and how to fix it and guaranteed my satisfaction. He gave me a couple of options and then said this is the one I have in my home and it's the water my grandkids drink. It was the most reasonable priced not only for him but compared to all the others also by far! They installed it a couple of weeks ago and I am over the moon satisfied! It is the freshest smelling and tasting I have ever had. Also, the water softness is perfect on testing and it feels wonderful. In fact, my soap now lathers like whip cream practically, lol. I am completely satisfied

Water smells like farts and has for the last month and a half but nothing has been done, even though they have been here three times to "fix" the problem. I spoke to the owner today. He said in front of Godfrey we would rebed the softener at no charge and come out today to test the water. Jimmy shows up and proceeds to tell me, now he is going to charge me. The system we bought was supposed to last 7-8 years but needs to be replaced now. I asked why they didn't sell us a system that would work better. He said, "Hindsight is 20/20." He said the filter needs to be 18" instead of 12". Justified the fact that the maintenance people didn't change the filter because it was hard to open!!! Again, why did they install the wrong type. I told him we rely on experts to tell us what we need, we would have bought the system they told us would be best for our water. He told me he would send us three options to correct the fart smell: a good, better and best. Good turns out to be the free rebedding he offered this morning when I spoke to him in his office with his tech Godfrey. That turns out to be the "good" option at $1500. The best involved buying new waters systems, with the "best" being $9000. We are not spending anymore money with this company. We wasted too much money on subpar equipment and work. Restored Water Treatment sent this picture when he came out to fix our system. It needed to be cleaned and some of the system was installed in the wrong order. We didn't need a new system, just a reworking of our current one. The kinestico head was junk and had to be replaced.

We have been using his service over a year noe and his service gets higher and higher every few months. The last two months have been $95/mo. There are only two of us in the home, we have no sprinkler system or pool, we do 2-2 loads of laundry/week and only run the dishwasher 1-2 x/wk. We called another company that said this system is the most expensive way to go and least effective and runs a risk of dumping Chlorine into our home which is bad for our plumbing and our septic tank. I do not recommend anyone to have him install a system until you check out the competition. More expensive is not always better.
