We walk in and ask to open a checking account and the tellers says, the lady to the right is busy but a guy to the left might have an opening. We are just head motioned to one side of the bank. He finally walks towards his office and we say, we need to open a checking account. He says, hmm, I don't know. What time is it? Then says, at 2:40, I don't know if I have time, I have a 3:15 appointment. He also tells us that we need a credit check to open a checking account. Odd. Never needed one at any other bank. We went over to Security State Bank of Hibbing and had an account by 3:15 and some great service.
