Worst company I have ever worked with. They were so slow that people thought we were rebuilding the house ourselves. Took over 3 months to frame the house. When hiring a general contractor I did not anticipate having to pay 2 of the sub contractors out of pocket. Not only were they very slow, but left thousands of dollars in rework. read more

Worst company to ever deal with. My mother in laws house has been under contract since August of 2018 from a fire. Keep pulling the, what seems to be their only employee, of her house to take on other projects. The owners hire horrible subcontractors. None of them want to do any work. The roof took a month. They seem to keep moving money around because supplies take forever to get. My mother in law has needed some of her things that they are storing, and no 1 knew anything or were anything was. Also seems they can't keep workers. 3 supervisor during this time. This should have never taken this long. There was also about a 6 weeks that nothing nor anyone ever came to the house. The neighbors keep us very well informed. The current supervisor is great. This company should not be in business. Do NOT use this crappy company EVER. read more

The boyfriend and I came home from a week long relaxing vacation at 2 AM to a house that smelled like rot and chlorine. The oh-so dreaded Michigan basement flood had taken place, and the standing water soaked in to our fully-finished basement and walls was obviously there for days. Initially, my manfellow thought he could repair the basement himself by getting some large fans from work and using a vacuum (it was pretty obvious to me that our house would probably become a haven for black mold if we went this route) . After watching him work at it for thirty minutes, I couldn't humor his ambition any more. I insisted that we look at our options. Ameri Pro was, simply put, a dream to work with. From the initial phone call that was handled with such interest and concern by the staff member, to the consultation that took place within an hour of my call (the two gentlemen who came were extremely professional, detailed, and again, genuinely caring), to every single team member that came through out the days to follow, they turned a horrible wreck of a basement into a worry-free nirvana of an ordeal. Our basement looks and smells brand new. On top of outstanding service, I can vouch for Ameri Pro's honesty. Originally, their estimate (which was in fact well-below any of the three other restoration companies we researched) was accepted by our insurance company and they received their cut of the check. We received a call a day later from a member of the team that said they would re-work the numbers because they may have included some expenses that were not needed. A day later, a gentleman stopped by the house with $400 extra from what our insurance company agreed to because it was over what they needed. Also, Ameri Pro also mentioned that due to the depressing economy in Michigan, they work with people on payment plans. No other company agreed to this, and I was very impressed that Ameri Pro was thoughtful enough to create this plan. I would one thousand times over recommend Ameri-Pro to someone who finds themself with a leaky or flooded basement problem. They are an outstanding company of professionals and turned my stroke-level of stress into a napping-cat level of ease. read more

We had an issue with a flood caused by a blown water tank from our warehouse renter. Ameri Pro was recommended to us by a friend, so we called off our Service Master appointment based on recommendations. Ameri Pro sent a gentlemen out who assured us our business would be up and running with little to no inconvenience. The gentlemen set up some dates for when the work would commence and when phases would be complete. After the conversation was over the man asked the one thing that should always be a red flag when doing any sort of construction work, 100% pay up front. Complete red flag there, BUT based on the recommendation we agreed so that we could put this disaster behind us. Start of the project we were told a week and half and they would be done and the project complete. Two and half weeks later the project was "completed". Several phone calls and emails were needed to get the office to be somewhat tolerable to the point we could function. Only after a few phone calls and emails did anyone from the company stop out to verify the work of sub contractors. When confronted with what was billed versus what was completed, there were several discrepancies, then the rep from Ameri Pro lied multiple times about what we said to them or around the subcontractor. In closing we will never hire this company ever again, nor recommend them. read more

They did a great job of pulling up carpet, drying everything out, tearing out drywall, and a wet ceiling. But 2 months later and they never came back to finish the job. They just kept saying how busy they were. read more

My husband and I are in the process purchasing a home that had some mold damage and when we called John the project manager of this company he met us out at the house and we thought gave us a very professional and honest opinion and approx. cost to do the restoration so we would feel comfortable buying this home. The realtor took our advice on thinking this was a outstanding company and we felt honest with his information and he was hired for the job. To our disappointment we had monitored the homes progress this past week and have been very disappointed. Not only did my husband catch him in numerous lies about what he was suppose to do but what he had said he had already completed and had not. He had lied to us and the realtor paying for the restoration of the home so we could buy the home. We are very disappointed and while he was on the job and my husband going over the job not done well he was fired. I looked this company up on the Better Business Bureau and of course I should have looked before we hired this company because they are not accredited. We are very upset, have wasted a week of everyones time and I wish I could do more then just write this letter. read more
