I have had nothing but problems from this company from the start. After quite a few initial teething problems I finally got my site the way I wanted it. Then they messed it up again, deleted work that I had edited on the page, not updated an email address which I requested, this company does a quick botch job for quick cash. I have just found out my mother who is in her 60's and runs a small bed and breakfast has been ripped off by these charlitains. I can only imagine they make their business by targeting similarly clueless people, who will be unaware of the fact they are paying a high price for a substandard product. She originally bought their bronze package, (supposed to be £299 - however when SEO fees were included on top of the package this brought the cost up to £400 yearly.) After a couple of years she complained about the high price and the fees were brought down. Recently on seeing the website myself, I suggested 2 more pages were added as the text on the main page was crowded which gives the site an unprofessional look. She queried this with AMCS and they have said we are required pay £199 to upgrade to the silver package - which then gives us access to the CMS and the ability to built unlimited pages. Hang on a minute - we pay £199 to access to the CMS and do it ourselves!??! This appears to be the only option available to us and we've also been quoted £90 to transfer the domain elsewhere. I have dealt with AMCS not too long ago. My cousin used them for website design when he started his import business. The business went under do to some problems with customs but that is another story. This company has excellent customer service the couple of times I did contact them. Prompt and professional, AMCS does amazing work, and is alot fairer priced than the competitors we had looked into. Definitely recommend them if you have any web design needs or want to be found on Google! I know we will be using them again when we return to our imports. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!! We had exactly the same situation as John T. Were promised a very reasonable package at the start, then after waiting several weeks we were told the site was ready but had to pay extra for google seach engine optimization and then a few weeks later more money again to finalise it all. The result is a rubbish website with spelling mistakes on it, nothing comes up when we search the company name and we have tried to use the "contact us" facility but are unable to retrieve any emails or access the website ourselves. No one answers our emails, responds to our calls or on the odd occasion you do manage to speak to someone they promise someone will look into it and call you back with no response again. The Initial sales pitch was very good, a £249 for £99, did ask from the beginning about hidden charges and additional costs, but was told no all in, now theyre telling me £499 for SEO, (which was discussed on the initial sales pitch that it was included, ok it wasnt all singing all dancing SEO), so because Ive turned it down, they did mention about me looking after the site when built for an additional £199 or they can do it for an additional £299...do you think ive got a money bank? Avoid this company at all costs. I re-designed and website for a client who had used them, and they had been charged extortionate amounts, What started from £300 had ended up at over £2000 , they didn't do what they were meant to, the website was awful and i mean awful. We then requested that they transfer the domains to our own provider and they wanted £200 per domain and held the company owner effectively to ransom. I then requested that they 301 redirect the original domain to a new domain as there was no way i would let her pay these rip off and fraudulent fees. After 5 e-mails and 3 telephone calls they still won't do the redirect as promised. I am reporting them to both Trading Standards and contacting Nominet about transfering the domains. I have dealt with Nominet before over a similar situation and they resolved it for me so i expect the same will happen here. Avoid, and if your with them currently i suggest you move away from them. read more

AMCS Internet sold us a package with a final figure but as time went on they where asking constantly for extra payments to complete the website which should have been included in the price. We would get a phone call from AMCS in the middle of the day saying that they needed payments for extra works which should have been included in the price we where originally given. We where told that Search engine Optimisation was included in the package and then got a call from AMCS asking for a payment of £1200 to pay extra for this. After several phone calls and a lot of very unpleasant conversations with AMCS they then said as a good will gesture they would reduce the cost to £900 !!! We felt completely robbed but had to pay this amount to try and get our website completed. AMCS never return calls, they only ever call when they want money !!! Even whilst the website was being built we where being charged for hosting, which should only have ever been charged once the website was completed. After finally completing the website after a very long and tiresome ordeal with AMCS the website was live for 1 month and then have noticed this evening that they have taken the website down with out any prior notice or contacting us. AMCS have continued to behave in a very unprofessional manner and fraudulent. The sales team at AMCS have no respect to their clients and have been very very rude and forcing their clients to pay more money over and over again for things that should have been included or client being informed about potential additional payments. It has been a nightmare to deal with this company and has caused me a lot of distress. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND that people stay away and DO NOT use this company !!!!!! Please search and view many many other similar complaints on the web regarding this company. I Imagine if there are any good reviews they are definitely not genuine reviews, the many complaints that I have seen posted, speak for themselves regarding this company ! Like others have already said DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY !Took my money and told me I would be on the Google search engine after paying more money I got NOTHING . I sent many e mail and no constructive reply's. Only heard from them again when it seemed my Domain needed renewing I said No and they still took the domain money from my account and also tried to retake a ( once only payment ) for the web design without my permission ! £700 . No key words or phrases etc So I was nowhere to be found Unless you searched for my business name which is not what a search is about? the one star is a compliment that i could not avoid, using amcs has been painful and a compleat wast of our time and money, amcs failed to register our site with google, when i noticed and informed them they fobbed me off and it took them month's to get is vissable on google and then they only managed to get it on page 66 of google, so it was not really ever visable on google, the website we paid amcs to design and build for us was full of spelling mistakes and grammatic errors, we repeatedly asked amcs to correct this, but they never did and when we decided not to renew our contract with them, amcs would not release our domain name (web address) unless we paid them a large amount of money, discusting business practice, considering we comissioned them to purchase the domain name for us and they used our money to buy it and then register it in there own business name, be aware that if you choose to go with amcs, you will not own your own web site or your own domain name (web address), amcs copy right your web site, use it to advertise there own business and then refuse to transfare your domain name and if you do not pay them what they want they will sell your domain name to you main competitor, please learn by my mistake and not at your own cost. read more
