I had a wonderful experience here! They were incredibly accommodating and managed to fit me in for a last-minute appointment, which I so appreciated. My masseuse, Nyssa, was fantastic. The entire session was deeply relaxing and exactly what I needed after a long hike in Telluride. Highly recommend Nyssa if you are looking to unwind and de-stress! read more

Ambrosia is amazing!! I have a lot of tension and chronic pain in my upper back/neck area and I felt light as a feather after I left my appointment. She is very down to earth and professional. Would highly recommend coming to her! read more

I've seen Ambrosia a few times over the last few years when we visit Telluride and she is hands down the best in town! From the moment you walk into her studio, you will feel calm and welcomed and relaxed. I'm currently 23 weeks pregnant and have seen her for both regular and prenatal massages, which have all been equally as wonderful. She had the perfect setup where I could lay flat and place my belly in a pillow during the massage, which I find much more preferable than other prenatal massages where you're typically on your side the whole time. She could tell exactly where my body was holding tension and I left feeling so much looser and more relaxed. She also advised me on some next steps for managing some pregnancy aches and pains once I got home! She is so knowledgeable, talented and kind. Don't think twice about calling Ambrosia when you're in Telluride- you won't regret it!! read more

This massage was exactly what I needed to end my weekend in telluride. Ambrosia has a very calm and kind demeanor and provided such a relaxing and thorough massage. I dozed off a few times and left feeling so relaxed. Can't wait to return for another massage! read more

Ambrosia's kindness and expertise are the best investment ever. I have never had a massage like this and have kept going back whenever I can. She is especially knowledgeable about active bodies and combines active stretching with deep tissue. I feel like this brings about improvements in my joints and muscles and goes behind just a relaxing massage to a truly healing one! read more

I was fortunate enough to find Ambrosia while in Telkuride in vacation. OMG! Aside from being in the magical land of Telluride this was one of the best parts of my week! She gave me 90 minutes of pure bliss. She combined, stretching, Thai, energy, deep tissue, essential oils and I was completely ZEN'd Out all day. I was grounded, open, relaxed, rejuvenated and felt so at peace. It's been a long time since I felt that good. I'm certainly wishing I lived closer to her to make it a regular thing! Thanks again Ambrosia! Pure magic. read more

This was absolutely the best massage! She was awesome! Just an overall relaxing experience. She was also so very kind!! When I left there I felt like a new person! THANK YOU Ambrosia!! read more

Ambrosia did my second ever prenatal massage and it was absolutely amazing!!! She was careful to make sure I was comfortable at all times while giving me a deep, relaxing massage! I am seriously considering flying her out to Texas to give me a few more massages before I deliver my baby! I would HIGHLY recommend her for all your massage needs but especially if you are expecting! You will feel like a new woman afterwards! read more

Ambrosia fit me in the schedule on short notice and I was impressed with how quickly she got to know me and made me feel right at home. She found the tension and soreness in my upper back and neck that I had been building from work and resolved it using multiple techniques. I was very impressed by her skills and knowledge gained over many years of experience. I only wish she lived closer to Northern Colorado but I will definitely go to her again if visiting the Telluride area! read more

I have a Thai massage weekly at home in CA, and wanted to find someone capable at our mountain home in Telluride. Ambrosia is such a talented masseuse! She is better at Thai massage than many of the native Thai masseuses that I have had in the past. If you are looking for a great massage Thai (a kind of gentle yoga massage), or otherwise...look no further!!! read more

I called Ambrosia Brown after I called others in the area, but none returned my calls. Ambrosia was further down the Yelp list than others. That is a mistake. Yelp should have her at the top! I had some appointments later that evening and needed some tension and stiffness relief from hiking in the Telluride mountains. She was able to meet on short notice that evening. Did she work wonders. After asking where I needed work, she gracefully and quickly checked out my muscles and tension over the whole body. Then came back to really start the massage and wow. What a difference. Loved the work with the hot stones. Later that evening, when I met up with folks for the conference, one of the local ladies commented on how refreshed I looked. I mentioned that I just had a massage from Ambrosia, and she replied with, " you must be in the know, she is the best in town." I completely agree. I'll be back next year and make a point to see Ambrosia again. Thanks, Ambrosia read more

I get regular massages so I know the difference between good and bad! Ambrosia had excellent communication, confirmed my appointment prior to my arrival to town and she did a 5++ star massage! I will be calling her again each time I'm in town on vacation! read more

The best massage I've ever had! I called based on good reviews and recommendations from the locals. She was so generous to work around my crazy schedule; the music, environment, amount of communication was perfect. I knew I had some stiffness and soreness, but until she started working on me I didn't realize how bad things were! I left feeling lighter and with much more flexibility than when I came. She used massage as well as rotating my arms and hips, and hot stones. Lovely. read more

Now I have another reason to come back to Telluride! Ambrosia gives a phenomenal massage. I appreciated that she did not hem me in to a specific massage but rather used her expertise to determine what it was I needed - a little bit of everything! Such a lovely gal and professional massage therapist. I will definitely go back to her. read more

Ambrosia was great! For the price of one massage, I got the best combo deep tissue, hot stone, therapeutic oil and Thai session!

Look no further folks, the hype is real! I've only had a handful of massages in my life but none of them compared to the skill, care, knowledge, (and possibly magical powers) Ambrosia puts into her therapy. And to top it off her rates are very reasonable, especially for Telluride. I slept on my neck very poorly and had pain/tightness for over a month. After telling her the issue, she went to work like a skilled detective. In past massages I've felt like they are just missing a spot or slightly off; Ambrosia's hands/elbows are like metal detectors, finding knots/pressure points I didn't know existed. The end result is I'm sitting here typing in a semi-zen state, free from the urge to hit my neck/back with a mallet. She's the Neck Ninja! read more

Ambrosia saw both my husband and I on just about 24 hours notice! We were very tight and out of balance due to days and days of driving cross country combined with 3 weeks of hiking and biking. She was able to find where I was "stuck" and eliminated tightness in my back and legs. My husband was also very happy with his massage. Thank you so much! We wish you well! read more

Excellent choice for a massage in Telluride. The hot stones were amazing. Her technique is precise. I highly recommend Ambrosia!

Brosia is AMAZING! She has a gift! I expressed exactly where I was feeling stress and tension and she focused on that area, finding exactly the places that needed release. I loved that she listened to me, and that she really understood what my body needed. My sister and I called for an appointment and she was very flexible for us to fit us in. And we loved her so much that we went back to her 2 days later! We felt so great afterwards and it stayed with us for days, which sometimes isn't the case with massage. Don't go anywhere else! Call her! read more

Wow! The best massage ever! I was skiing in Telluride and a friend recommended Ambrosia who was amazing. I have had plenty of massages, some good, most just ok, but this was such a relaxing, healing and transformative experience. Ambrosia is intuitive and professional. She had such a good way about her and my body was like "thank you thank you thank you". read more

Truly the best message ever. I was in a bad accident 3 years ago and had to give up skiing. While the kids and Gkids went, I went with my wife to get a massage. Made the rest of the trip wonderful. I had a shattered back with rods and 8 screws. On my way home on a crowded plane and still feel great. I'm going to drop a few Lbs and try skiing again. read more

The hot stone massage was so relaxing. I have massages quite often and this one really stood out! Also, Ambrosia was so personable and talented. And she made arranging the massage a breeze since she was so responsive to my text communications with her. I would highly recommend Ambrosia. read more

I am not an expert at judging massage, so this review concerns the service more generally w/o that sort of insight. Amber saw me on very short notice on a Saturday and was cheery in demeanor and ready to help me with my shoulder and neck issues. Her pricing was very reasonable, half what my hotel wanted per hour, and she was also generous with her time, making sure she had seen to my muscles. She used a combination of her hands and elbows (Swedish?) along with some hot stones to enhance the massage and a number of stretches to keep my limbs limber and relaxed through the process. Her studio space is simple yet not confining in any way, nice music, oils, smells. Very happy with the service and care and she even followed up at the end of the session to make sure my time in telluride would be a good visit since I was visiting. If you want an affordable, no frills, super relaxed and comfortable massage therapist, see Amber. read more
