This so-called "doctor" is in absolute and clear direct violation of the ADA laws. I've heard this individual is good with patients so as long as you do not require anything from him other than doctor visits, and prescriptions. However, quite horrible when it comes to accessibility issues. Go to this physician so as long as you remember not to inconvenience him and the horribly rude receptionist. The receptionist was very annoyed when I called. She was heard in the background and was rather an extremely rude, disrespectful staff that the physician hired, no doubt. On the other hand, look elsewhere if accessibility and human diversity rights are important to you, your loved ones and your friends. We must not ever hire a single physician that have issues providing accessibility to their clients. A doctor is only a true physician when he/she provides accessibility. Such physicians are out there and true assets to society.

Most of the staff is friendly, listen, and are all around pleasant. Elizabeth needs retrained. She talked over me, not listening to why I was calling. Then when I tried to correct her and finish explaining, she spoke over me again. Learn to LISTEN. It's a vital skill in providing service. After finally being able to speak, she just gave me a lecture about being able to put messages through on MyChart and essentially blaming me over the mix-up I was calling in about. I only needed them to send my referral over to the correct doctor. Hence why apparently it is my fault and I should have used MyChart to "avoid confusion." No, Elizabeth. People are allowed to contact the office instead of using digital tools. Get over it. Spoiler: She didn't send the correct information to the doctor. So I took her "advice" and sent it myself. Other than this interaction, I haven't had an issue with staff. I've had to contact the office multiple times, and spoken with multiple people, as we have been trying to figure out this prior auth and referral situation. Everything has been done with ease and speed. The multiple calls have been beyond anyone's control, due to the changing circumstances, rather than needing to call because someone hasn't done something (a plague in many doctors offices). Everyone else I've spoken with has been helpful and pleasant. And they've gotten their phone messages correct. Hmm. Guess it pays to listen.

He takes his time with you, he listens to your concerns and he maps out which direction is needed to be taken to help solve the issue. I have personally been seeing him for 11 years and would not want to go anywhere else for my Primary Care. Dr. Facemyer is really laid back/cool and easy to get along with. The office/waiting room is always very clean and the exam rooms are always super clean. The nurses (Laurie & Maureen) are awesome! They treat you like you are family .. they will laugh, joke and talk with you like they've known you forever. I think that they mix perfectly with Dr. Facemyer and really elevate your visit to a whole different level. They can usually fit you into any day needed if things change with your schedule or if something pops up before your next scheduled visit Dr Facemyer's office is also in a great location! Located in Austintown next to the Giant Eagle "Get Go" gas station with both on and off ramps leading to which ever direction you are coming or going makes it a simple drive! The parking lot is safe and provides plenty of parking spaces. I felt the need to write this quick review because I was seeing a few other reviews about the 'wait time' .. As I said in my opening paragraph, you may wait a little longer than you would at other doctors offices, but to me, I would rather wait a bit and be able to spend time talking with my Doctor than quickly being rushed in and having 2 minutes to speak to my doctor. Besides, good things come to those who wait :) I'd give Dr. Facemyer & his Nurses/Staff a 10 star review if I was able to, but, they definitely get 5 stars from me! If Dr. Facemyer or anyone from the office reads this, Keep up the excellent work, You ARE making a difference in peoples lives & health.
