Located within the Old Jewish Quarter, Plac Nowy 1 is beautiful on the inside. Spacious with lots…read moreof open space, it's an inviting restaurant. Service was top notch and the restrooms clean, but the food could use a little love. In our group of ten, plates were hit or miss. For example, the flank steak was good but not the short ribs. I ordered the Korean chicken burger and it was not as I expected. I assumed a chicken patty or burger would be on it. Instead, three lumpy chicken bites like those found in Orange Chicken came in between two pieces of bun. It made it difficult to eat. The chicken pieces fell out and I was left with a soggy bun with too much ginger and sauce. I wouldn't order it again.
However, I appreciated their drink list that included a refreshing semi sweet hard cider. They also have strong WiFi with the password printed on every menu.
If you want Polish food, don't go here. It's a collection of food from other places.
