The store has reasonable prices and is easy to navigate. You can use your cart to ring up your groceries. The workers are friendly. The store was clean. The parking lot is extremely busy with Amazon flex drivers as well and can be dangerous backing out. read more

Outstanding experience. Went there just looking for a slice of pizza for me and my mom. Sladana, one of the managers from the pasta section - I believe, saw us. She noticed we were using one of their very advanced shopping carts- that I had no idea how to use, much less what it's capable of doing. She took her time to give me a mini training on how to use. Despite all of the negative media attention, this store has potential! My wife and I went here today and really enjoyed the experience. I would have to say the best and most exciting feature of this store is the computerized shopping cart. You have to experience this to thoroughly enjoy this place. When you arrive scan your phone, with the Amazon app, and you are done! Just throw your items into the cart and it tracks your purchases. When you are finished just leave. Items are charged to your account, The food selections are awesome and so are the fresh items. There are two huge negatives however. The biggest one being that the store is more than freezing cold. We had to leave early as we couldn't take it. And I have never had this issue in my life as I like it cold. But this was beyond nuts. Wear winter clothes when you shop here and complain about the frigid temp to the manager please! The other negative is that the prices are not good. Great selections but the prices are not competitive with Jewel or Aldi. However! If you are a Prime member there are many items with HUGE discounts that can't be beat. But I am not a Prime and never will be. I do like this experience. Hopefully it will eventually be able to turn into an original stomping ground! read more

Purchased dog food fed dog breakfast 9/4/25 from newly opened bag. I was getting his dinner and was furious to find what appears to be a clumps of molded dog food and molded kibbles. Called store with number from Google was routed to on line customer service they were unable to see purchase or help locating a store phone number. I don't trust anything in Amazon fresh stores. Please check your orders as well as in-store purchases before preparation and/or consumption. Not sure what reaction the dog may have. I'm taking a sample to vet in case of illness and legal action is necessary. read more

First visit to store and I purchased choc chip cookies, cereals, a fruit plate. I opened the choc chip cookies and they were rancid. Really rancid and smelled terrible! I looked for expire by date, and could not find on package. Fruit plate was not fresh but parrot enjoyed. Have not opened cereal yet but both boxes have an expiration date early 2026. Went out on opening day to see what this seemingly three-years-in-the-making grocery store was like, and came away feeling it was a bit like a slightly bigger Whole Foods store. The biggest problem for me was that I didn't see any particular specialty ... it is a nice grocery store with all the usual items freshly stocked, neat and clean appearance all around, store employees were delightful, prices were give-or-take just like everyone else, but there was nothing to make this Amazon Fresh standout from the competition. We had been to a different Amazon Fresh out in the western suburbs once, and noted their specialty was having your selections run a total as you put them in the cart ... all computerized. It also would take the price off if you returned the item to the shelves. But we didn't see that in action in the Tinley Park store. There were maybe a handful of special carts that looked like they were being tested for that concept, but 98 percent of the carts were the old-fashioned type. So the Tinley Park store is a nice grocery store, a good replacement for the Walt's that used to be close by, but just that - a nice grocery store. I guess in summary I would say we would certainly shop there again, but wouldn't drive the extra miles over to do so. read more

I've been shopping in there about 6 or 7 times, and also go in there to pick up Amazon packages. The prices are hit or miss. A lot of things you can get cheaper at Meijer down the street. Not sure about why they even have the food bars there. Everything seems like it's been sitting there for a long time and crusted over untouched, which seems like a waste of food as no one is buying it. I'm got going to eat something sitting out like that. One thing that stands out, is that every time I've been in there, the place is pretty much empty. It seems like the only people I see in there are those picking up packages. Not sure how long this place will stay open for. read more

I lost my credit card in the store and I went to the customer service desk to ask if anyone returned it and I was told he didnt have time to help me. I was florid. Well now that I've placed a half dozen orders, and a large order, I'm finding several nearly out of date products in my bags and the substitution procedure doesn't work very well. I ordered ground beef, got a text stating that it was out of stock asking if it was ok to substitute, and I said yes right away, but when I picked up my order there was NO ground beef. Really? You couldn't find a suitable substitute? That was super annoying and I had to go to another store just for ground beef, which completely defeats the purpose of curbside pickup. I've also gotten several items that were way too close to the expiration date, including tortillas, peanut butter, hamburger buns, bread, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese. read more

The value over all is very good and prices on most items are good. They sometimes have coupons which helps.

Over priced Whole Foods (even though Whole Foods is already overpriced). It's more for the experience of Amazon having an actual store to go to.... read more

I'm not sure who does the shopping but it sucked to have to throw away bags of fruit because it is rotten, so disgusting.

The store was clean and the associates were very informative and helpful from the entrance to the checkout and one of the associate even helped me to get the app on my phone which allowed me to take advantage of the extra prime savings. All the food looked fresh and we were surprised at the price on the avocado's that were 3 for 1.00 we have not seen those prices for 20 years :) and 3lbs of ground beef for 4.98 tacos and guacamole for dinner tonight. like all the stores in the area some items are higher priced and some are lower. My next shop will by online and pick up at store, during the holidays this can be a huge time saving convenience when your on a tight schedule. I will definitely be back for more great fresh food along with my Prime savings. read more

Pickup order was a disaster. Arrived at park spot 11 but app only went to 10. Busy spot to place pickup. Every item I ordered had substitutes and those substitutes were also out of stock. Was told there were no eggs or a good substitute for eggs. Went into store shopped and found all my items. And items were basic / essential items and not specialty. Not going back. read more
