Dory was my massage therapist and she was great. I'm no massage pro. Have had only a few massages in my life, most of which were ruff and unenjoyable. Dory worked on an area that was causing me trouble but still gave me a full body massage for a reasonable rate. Check it out.

Anaina is so gentle spoken and a calming presence to be around. She works with you and asks specifics about what you need. I told her where my stress and pain was in the beginning before we started. Anaina will get you into a relaxed state of mind and body and slowly starts out. she felt the tense parts and where to focus on without me having to talk during the massage (which you can if you want to and she checks in to see how you're doing throughout). She stretches you and it feels so good. I didn't realize what was tense until she started working on different parts of my body. Next time I'm going in for the Radiant Body Radiant Spirit therapy. Im so excited! Really great pricing for the amount of time and focus you get.

I just experienced my first massage by David Bigden, and it was unlike any massage I've ever had --…read moreI can't wait for my next appointment! David is a former chiropractor and has a thorough knowledge of the human body, and it's clearly his passion and his life's work. This was no typical massage -- he spent a lot of time before the massage asking questions about where I've experienced pain or stress, and told me that he typically massages deep, and that for some people, it can be painful, so it was up to me to let him know if at any time it was too much for me. I like his style -- he's not woo-woo, he's just direct and honest, and he really listened to me. Then the massage began -- not the typical broad, gentle sweeps, nope, he got right into the muscles, the lumps, the trigger points. I was amazed at how fast he found places I didn't even know were tensed-up. There were maybe 3 times when the pressure seemed more than I could take, but all I had to do was say so, and he'd ease up, but he didn't back-off of that place, he continued to work it through. In this session, I quickly trusted him to listen to me, and trusted his experience to know how much work each spot really needed. I felt safe with him the whole time, and we talked about lots of things, mostly the work he was doing and why, which helped me learn more about my body. He never gave unsolicited advice, he was just really helpful and so easy to be around. I had expected the massage would cost around $100, but it was considerably less than that, which was the icing on the cake! I'll be back every two weeks from now on -- although David said that after a while, I probably won't NEED a massage every two weeks! I highly, highly recommend, if you're looking for real work to be done on your body by a knowledgeable professional, and an undeniable sense of relaxation and improved health.

Lee was quick to call me back and got me scheduled for an hour and a half. I originally had not requested hot rocks as I have had these done in the past at other places and was never impressed. Lee assured me that was because I had never had hot rocks the way she does it so I agreed to adding hot rocks. I did the hot rocks massage with the foot reflexology and treatment. Lee emailed me very detailed directions to the location and I found it easily. From the moment I walked in till I walked out (very relaxed and happy) I had a great experience. She definitely has changed my mind about hot rocks and they were great! I loved that she uses hot rocks, tuning forks and a variety of other things to create a very wonderful, relaxing and great experience. Lee is VERY reasonably priced too and I feel like I more than got my money's worth. Sadly I don't live in Taos so I don't know if I will ever get to have a massage this awesome again, but you can bet if I am ever in Taos again I will for sure be booking an appointment with Lee.
