I had a wonderful experience here and Lee is a fantastic masseuse! I called on a Monday afternoon when I got into town to see if she could possibly get me in on that Wednesday as I had read her reviews on here as well as on other sites and all the reviews were great! Lee was quick to call me back and got me scheduled for an hour and a half. I originally had not requested hot rocks as I have had these done in the past at other places and was never impressed. Lee assured me that was because I had never had hot rocks the way she does it so I agreed to adding hot rocks. I did the hot rocks massage with the foot reflexology and treatment. Lee emailed me very detailed directions to the location and I found it easily. From the moment I walked in till I walked out (very relaxed and happy) I had a great experience. She definitely has changed my mind about hot rocks and they were great! I loved that she uses hot rocks, tuning forks and a variety of other things to create a very wonderful, relaxing and great experience. Lee is VERY reasonably priced too and I feel like I more than got my money's worth. Sadly I don't live in Taos so I don't know if I will ever get to have a massage this awesome again, but you can bet if I am ever in Taos again I will for sure be booking an appointment with Lee. read more

Maggie and I were booked for a couples massage and foot scrub/massage. The owner Reese greeted us when we arrived and immediately made us comfortable as she and Deb prepared for our massage. We had the foot scrub/massage first. Overall it was good, but the chairs they used were awkward for Maggie to get her feet into the bath. The space was also a bit cramped, but the salt scrub and massage was good. The couples massage was 105 minutes and a good combination of relaxation and therapeutic. Reese and Deb used hot rocks as well as their skilled hands to work over all our muscle groups from head to toe, leaving us relaxed and refreshed. The nit I would pick is that they were originally planning to do our massages in separate rooms. Fortunately they were able to do us side by side! read more

My boyfriend and I had an hour long couple's massage done by Lee and her assistant and were very pleased! Lee has got magic hands and with every touch you can feel years of experience in her fingers. It was an exceptionally multi-sensory session since it incorporated so many elements - there were hot river stones, vibrating tuning forks, lavender oils, and not to mention an infrared massage table. One thing I have to stress is her excellent customer service - she threw in the complimentary hot stones knowing it was my birthday! She also gave very detailed instructions on the location via e-mail, as it can be tricky to find. The only thing I would recommend before arriving is to really give some thought as to what you'd like to get out of the massage, specifically any preferences or what areas you would like to be focused on, so that when they ask you prior to the massage, you'll know exactly what you want. In hindsight, I may have preferred deeper pressure, but I didn't give this any thought prior to my session, and also felt a bit reluctant to interrupt what she was doing during the session, so it's good to have these things in mind beforehand. Also be ready to pay cash or check - she tries to avoid card transaction fees when possible. Compared to the nearby competitors, however, Sage Water's prices are very affordable, especially for the quality of services you receive. Altogether I would definitely recommend this business and would come back again if given the chance! read more

I just had a blissful 90 minute massage and mini facial with Reese. She gave me an attentive and nurturing deep massage utilizing hot stones. And she uses organic locally produced natural products for the facial. My body and face feel rejuvenated! They've created a serene and beautifully designed space for healing. My experience there was beyond my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt that I was in the hands of a professional. The Spa is beautifully appointed, serene and most importantly, relaxing. I am a visitor in Taos and I had some pretty good all-over soreness after a grueling hike the previous day. My same-day appointment request was accommodated without any trouble, and Deb and I chatted for a bit. I told her I thought something like a Swedish massage with some hot stone therapy might be just the thing, and Deb quickly found just the right touch for my needs--not too light, not too deep.
