I paid around $6,500 to have my house repainted (including scraping, sanding, caulking, and repairs to water damaged trim). First of all, the crew smoked so much weed while working that the neighbors complained. They barely scraped any cracked or peeling paint. Sanded nothing. So now a year and a half later, I have multiple code violations for cracked and peeling paint from the city. No care was taken to mask off areas that weren't supposed to be painted. They sprayed my gutters, garage door, gas meter, mail box. They missed areas all together. Spilled and run off paint. They painted over stained woodwork and bricks. Trim was only painted on one side. I thought they were going to finish the back and sides the same. So after they got paid they never came back. I didn't really want to tell a friend that this was the worst job I had ever seen. So I ask him multiple times to come out and finish the sides and back. "Antonio" keeps telling me he is busy and will come out when he can. This goes on for a while. I get a new ticket for cracked a peeling paint from the city so I message him again. This time more aggressive. He acts like he doesn't know what I'm talking about. First they don't do trim. Then they did do the trim and it's white. Then later that they only do the front and the sides cost more. So "Antonio" does stop by the house and we talk face to face. I walk him around the house and show him everything. He gives me his word that he will come on Sunday and "make it right". The night before he messages me that I will have to pay more for labor and that the back and sides weren't included. Basically pay more or I'm screwed. Any way I didn't want to bad mouth anybody but a couple of crank heads could have done this quality of work. And for a lot less money. My main contact was Antonio (which isn't even his real name) but Mario and another guy were there and did the same trash work. And scare me for trying to support a friends business. There was a serious lack of transparency and communication regarding service. I was not called…read morebefore my roof was put on and found out they had worked on my house days after the fact as I had not been able to move in. Victor construction initially told me they would be replacing my roof as well as my gutters. However, only the roof got replaced. When questioned, they claimed it was a clerical error on their part and did not do anything to correct this. Not only that, but the roofers ran into my garage door causing it to need to be replaced. Victor Construction took very little accountability, making the roofer pay for the new door out of pocket. When I asked Victor roofing if they were insured, I never got an answer which increased my anxiety about the situation. After a week, the door was finally fixed but I had to make a lot of phone calls to get progress made. I also did not have the contact information of the person who broke the garage door for several days. As a first time home buyer and being new to this type of work, I felt taken advantage of during this whole situation. When my realtor tried to communicate with Victor Construction themselves, they were ignored and I was called because I had less experience dealing with these types of issues. When deciding to put new windows in our 1910s home, we had 4 different companies come and give…read moreestimates, from the high-end Pella, to the $189 companies. We ultimately decided to go with Miracle Windows. It took several weeks to get the new windows installed (ordering, manufacturing, install), but we weren't in a hurry. They stayed in touch and kept us up to date with the status of the manufacturing process. During the install, it was noticed there was a defect in the vent latches on every one of the 12 windows we were replacing. The gentleman doing the install completed the job (with a few little messes here and there, but you can't expect your home to be cleaner than when they started, right?) and put me back in touch with the sales rep (Heartland Windows) for the KC area. The manufacturer gave us two options, cash for the mistake, or new windows. Our mentality was if you're paying someone that much money for a product, it should be done right. We opted for new windows. It took several weeks to get the issue resolved, but it was resolved! Again, we weren't in a hurry and trying to be unreasonable (not to mention this was during the holidays). Once the new windows arrived, I was contacted by Miracle to set up another install. The same crew came out and made the replacements, very professional and completed the work in a timely manner. This has been a several month ordeal since the original install back in November 2011, however, Miracle stuck through the process, stayed behind their product and were very helpful in correcting the problem to our satisfaction. While this is only one review and one experience, we have had our windows for 4 months now and have no complaints!

Once the contract is signed, TASK will reduce the scope of work and blame it on miscommunication. From start to finish they continually lie and never meet the deadline that they stated. The material delivery was late. The construction crew did not start on the day that they said. I took off a day of work on the day they were supposed to start and nothing ever happened. Once the construction did start, they didn't complete the work as promised. I had an old unused satellite dish mounted on the roof that I had clipped and removed the coax line. The crew was supposed to remove and discard the dish. Instead, they installed the new roof and mounted the dish, with no coax attached, back onto the roof. It took several phone calls to several different people at TASK and 1 month to get them to come back to remove the dish and repair the holes in the roof that the bolts left behind. TASK also leaves behind plenty of nails in your driveway and trash scattered throughout your property. I would strongly discourage anyone from using this contractor.
