Its really cheesy but its something that's lost with many new gas stations on the interstate to find goofy souvenirs and overall useless stuff. When I was headed back home from Hendersonville and came across this RaceTrac I immediately got…read moregiddy and had to stop! One thing about the Nashville area is that the gas station game is not strong at all...so any chance I get to pop into a RaceTrac or QT around town, I take it! For reference, RaceTrac's are massive back in Atlanta...and I miss them so much! Now that I got my fan-girl moment out the way, I popped into this RaceTrac to top off the ole tank and grab a snack/drink. I love the RaceTrac coffee machine's, so naturally I scooped up an Iced Coffee for a short drive home to East Nashville. The store was clean, well stocked and in decent condition for a gas station. While I do not end up in Hendersonville often, I now have an extra reason to go that way on occasion!

My thought is that if you don't enjoy your job, find another one! The lady's name was Laura, at least that's what she told me. She seemed to have an attitude, because I sat in my car for two minutes after pulling up, to finish my Arizona ice tea. Then, when I went to pay for gas she took 7 minutes to scan my shell reward card and swipe my debit card. I went to the pump, to pump gas and it didn't work. She had to run my card again, therefore charging me twice. She claims that they money from the first transaction that she messed but up would be put back into my account, but it hasn't yet. It was a really bad experience; and although I live close to this location I would rather travel to any other gas station than experienced what I did last night. Terrible.

Just before getting back on the interstate we stopped to use the bathroom, get gas and a bite to eat. Easy access and several gas pumps so no wait for gas. After looking at food options to eat on the run I opted for the big hot dog for my husband and myself. After putting the dogs on the buns and putting relish on them i realized there was no mustard packets. Hard for me to eat a dog without mustard. The clerk, Erica looked for mustard packets but couldn't find any. She asked the store manager, Adam who was stocking shelves and he said there were no packets. Adam was so kind and went to the shelf and handed me a full bottle of mustard off the shelf to use. He then told the clerk to not charge us for the hot dogs. What a kind gesture and great customer service. Store was clean and right off the interstate.
