This is a common practice that every stylist I've been to over the past several years is familiar with. Every time I would remind her to add it. Every time she would ask me what color she used previously. 3 times in a row this happened. I asked why she didn't keep records which is also a very common practice. 2 appointments ago she said she would start doing that. The last time I came in for a root touch up again she asked about the color. Luckily, I wrote the color number on a picture of my hair from a previous appointment because I had a feeling the promise of record keeping wouldn't be fulfilled. She then informed me that I was "lucky" that there was one application left of that color. I reminded her to add the Sweet 'n Low. As she put the color in, she sang non stop in my ear, every single song that played over the speakers. It was beyond irritating. I was there to relax and receive a service. Not be serenaded. After the color was applied, my scalp started itching and burning. I got up to go look for her, found her with her face in her phone and asked if she remembered to put the Sweet 'n Low in. She said she did. Pretty sure that wasn't true as this dye never gave me a reaction before. I spent 2 weeks with blisters and itching on my scalp. After the 3rd week the color faded so much that I had to spend another $200 at a different salon to fix this mess. I'm fairly certain that she used the wrong color because they were out of what she used previously. Needless to say they've lost my business forever.

I highly recommend her. The salon was excellent. The owner offered drinks, the chairs reclined with leg rests, and they offer incentives to keep you coming back. I'm surprised it took me 16 years to stumble on this place. I will definitely be back. I did try to go back this May on a Saturday before 5pm, but they were apparently closed. I paid $400 for a treatment that was promised to last much longer, using Ybera Paris products as advertised. Less than two months later, my hair is already curling again. This product is meant to last 6 months!!! clearly the treatment did not hold up at all. I even bought the recommended shampoo and conditioner by Marcela to maintain the results, but it made no difference. When I confronted Marcela about the fact that she likely never used the Ybera Paris products I paid for, she blocked my number completely. This behavior is not only unprofessional but also dishonest and deceptive. Bella Donna Hair salon is promoting and charging for premium products they are NOT using, which is outright fraud and a breach of trust. I tried to resolve this amicably, but after being ignored and then blocked, I'm left no choice but to take legal action. I am now filing complaints with consumer protection agencies and the official Ybera Paris distributors to expose this scam and protect other clients from being ripped off. DO NOT trust this salon if you want honest service and real results. Beware. Make sure they mix everything in front of you!!! Tell them you want to see the product!
