If you want a great experience, DON'T choose Aly Rose Beauty. Ashley C. is who you will be dealing with, and she is the worst businesswoman I have ever encountered. Ashley terminated my contract without speaking to me, texting me, emailing me, or having any type of discussion about a resolution. I consistently tried to communicate with her, but she would respond hours or even days later with an excuse. I asked her if I could speak with the artists after my preview because, honestly, Ashley has been so unreliable, and I wanted to see if I could use my own foundation on my wedding day. When I finally received a response from Ashley, it was an essay full of excuses and basically 100 reasons why I couldn't. She also told me that I couldn't speak directly to my makeup artist or hairstylist, even though I much preferred communicating with them over Ashley. The problem is, I can't even get ahold of Ashley. If I call her, she sends me a text saying she's with a client, which I have screenshots of. Ashley said I need to tell her all of my makeup and hair concerns, and then she will communicate them to my artists. But why should I have to go through Ashley, who isn't doing my hair or makeup, to relay every little change or request to my makeup and hair artists? Have they never dealt with a bride before? Brides can change their minds every five minutes when it comes to their wedding day. And if that's how their business operates, then they should have someone handling communication who is professional, reliable, responsive, and knows how to communicate with clients in a timely manner. I get married in 54 days. I would have loved to personally speak with the owner or literally anyone at the company, but I never got the opportunity to speak to ANYONE because Ashley wouldn't allow it. Ashley texted me saying that everything would have to be communicated through email from that point forward, which I also have screenshots of. However, I never received an email from her. I texted her saying, "I have nothing in my email." I then tried calling her several times. She turned her phone off and subsequently emailed me a termination of my contract. I never want another bride to experience what Aly Rose Beauty put me through. Based on my experience, I did not feel that my concerns, wants, or wedding day were being prioritized. I have already booked with another company, and I have also heard similar negative experiences about Aly Rose Beauty from artists. Ladies, don't waste your time. Do your research, ask questions, and make sure you feel comfortable with the communication and customer service before booking. Absolute worst company ever. UPDATE! TLDR: It seems not all communication will not be passed down to your artists and that's a big issue. Whether someone is sick the day of or not they should still be communicating with their staff for requests and needs. Secondly when you book they don't ask you the right questions because they expect everyone to do a preview but we don't all have the luxury to drive over an hour away for a preview. So it's your fault in the end When I did my preview everything was fine except the hairspray that gave me a headache 20 minutes into driving home. I requested unscented hair products more than once and even reconfirmed about 12 days before the wedding and was told that would be no issue. The day of the wedding, they sent a different girl for my hair. All her products were scented it was never instructed to her to get unscented even though I reconfirmed and was told it wouldnt be an issue . She put some mousse and a balm in my hair. Which did not hold. My make up girl was great but with hair... I brought this up to their attention after the wedding about my hair and how bad it frizzed up I even sent a pictures and they just tried saying well in the pictures that the hair girl took it looked fine . I don't appreciate a business ignoring accountability of their mistake and not passing down the information of having unscented products especially after confirming they would have no problem with unscented. They also did my wife's hair and they did not do it how she wanted it. All they did was make a small bun she could have easily done that for herself. they did ask to send a inspo which she did , she did not do a preview as all she wanted a braid. She checked her inbox and spam no questions were asked. This review is for management, which will directly relate to your wedding day. Do not book them. They gave me a schedule of a start time of 9 and a setup time of 8:30. Then gave their artists a start time of 8. So I got a call on the morning of my wedding at 8:40 asking where I was because I was late. I was told hair would be late since I was late and I would just have to adjust. I explained I had a different timeline and the artist had no explanation as to why our timelines did not match. She just said get your girls here asap. I got there and there were 5 artists instead of 4, I had only told 4 girls their start time was 9am. I was never told a 5th artist would be involved. I realized later it was because one of the hair ladies left early. So half the time we only had 3 artists instead of 4... When I inquired with the company they told me that set up was early and people usually like that. (I don't know anyone who who like a surprise arrival at 7:30am when they were expecting an 8:30am arrival) I tried to explain that set up and starting are actually two different things. I even have receipts as to how they screwed up my timeline and they still refused to acknowledge it. This ruined my morning. Ruined the morning for my bridesmaids because we were so rushed to get in the chairs and they had to go at a different time than I told them. One artist told my bridesmaid to find my mother in law and get her in the chair now or else she an do her own makeup. My mother in law was taking care of her disabled son and was not expecting to go early.... (the artist had another wedding to get to... I guess they assumed they could finish me early and be fine with double booking?) The company tried to say wedding mornings are stressful and they are completely innocent in any stress they caused me. I even have documentation that hair was in fact delayed (why was the only 1 person doing hair instead of 2 half the morning???) which then delayed the photos for the entire day and Aly tried to tell me they finished everyone on time. I've attached a photo of my bridesmaid starting her hair at 1:20 when all services were suppose to end at 1:00. They can't take any accountability and also straight up lied even when presented with documented proof. I've been involved in many weddings and never have I witnessed a company gaslight a bride to think she was at fault when the company completely screwed up. I asked them after just for an ounce of accountability and acknowledgment that they screwed up my timeline (there is documentation) and they still refused saying "clients appreciate it when we arrive early" I was told I misunderstood the reason for the morning phone call, she only called me to say I could start early if I wanted to. Well I attached the voicemail it clearly states when the artist thought the timeline started. And on the phone when I picked up at 8:40am she told me hair would be delayed since I was "late". I have never written a negative review for a company before, but my experience with Aly Rose Beauty for my wedding day was so disappointing and stressful that I feel it's important to share. From the very beginning, communication was an ongoing issue throughout the entire eight months leading up to the wedding -- delayed responses, unclear information, and difficulty getting simple confirmations. Despite this, I trusted that everything would come together on the actual day. Unfortunately, it didn't. We were told both makeup artists would arrive at 7:00 AM, but due to a major scheduling miscommunication caused by the company, no one showed up anywhere close to the promised time. The first artist arrived at 8:05am. After numerous phone calls, texts, of not only the bride, but the hair a as make up people there... and attempts to reach someone (all done by me, the bride, instead of relaxing and getting ready), we still received no response until 9:08am. Being unreachable on the morning of a wedding -- especially in this industry -- is unacceptable. Because of the strict timeline and drive to the venue, they put us on a timeline that we HAD to stick too. However, 2 of my bridesmaids didn't get their make up until six hours late, which completely derailed the timeline of my wedding morning and created unnecessary stress for myself and my bridal party. We also had to be at the venue by 1:30, and my wedding party wasn't able to get there until almost 3:00pm. When the artists finally arrived, there was no apology, no explanation, and no acknowledgment of the situation, even after being informed about how late they were. They told us this is when the company told them to show. After the wedding, I reached out on 11/13 to try to resolve the issue and request a partial refund. I was told it would take "a few days" for someone to get back to me. Weeks passed with no response to follow-ups, no accountability, and no attempt to make things right. Their own contract states that communication will be returned within 72 hours, yet the response time was far beyond that -- another example of the same communication issues that plagued the entire experience. Not only that, I received a final confirmation for my hair and make up ideas with the finalization details FIVE days after my wedding. After this chaos already happened. While the makeup itself turned out beautifully, I the overall experience with Aly Rose Beauty was chaotic, unprofessional, and completely mismanaged from start to finish. Brides deserve reliability, transparency, and a team that reduces stress on their wedding day -- not one that adds to it. In general, I'm a very understanding human who gets things come up. But that wasn't the case this time and seemed to be a reoccurring issue with this company. Again, I am one of the most understanding people, but this was just blatant lack of care. Review from Mother of the Bride As the mother of the bride and the person who hired and paid for Aly Rose Beauty, I want to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. Of all the vendors we chose for my daughter's wedding, the only one I would not choose again is Aly Rose Beauty. Communication was inconsistent from the beginning. I was often told they were unavailable Thursday through Sunday, and it was difficult to get timely responses even as the wedding approached. Aly Rose provided the start and end times for the hair and makeup schedule. I completed their spreadsheet with each person's assigned slot and confirmed with them the day before the wedding that everything was received and understood. Despite that, the confirmed 7:00 AM arrival did not happen. The first artist arrived after 8:00 AM, and a second arrived only after numerous phone calls. The company was unreachable for a significant period that morning. Because our schedule was tight, the delays pushed services back by hours and caused the bridal party to arrive late to the venue. When the artists arrived, they said these were the times the company had given them. Throughout this process, it also became clear that the artists Aly Rose contracts with are numerous and seem to have no direct connection or sense of accountability to the company. That is exactly how it felt on the wedding day, as if there was no unified team, no clear leadership, and no one taking ownership of the situation. After the wedding, I reached out to request a partial refund. Aside from an initial message saying they were "at a conference," I have never received any follow-up from Aly Rose. The only additional communication was a text explaining that they had tried to contact my daughter, who was out of the country on her honeymoon, even though I was the client of record. There was no acknowledgment of the delays, no accountability for what happened, and no offer of any compensation despite the clear disruption to our day. Five days after the wedding, I also received an email saying I "must be excited that the wedding date was coming up" and asking me to complete an information form. Not only had the wedding already taken place, but my daughter, who I asked them to include on all communication, never received it. It was confusing and unprofessional. The hair and makeup were fine, though not exceptional. However, the unreliable communication, significant delays, lack of team cohesion, and complete lack of follow-up made the overall service unacceptable. It looked flawless throughout the ceremony, photos and dancing. My one recommendation is related to the touch-up kits they provided. There wasn't enough lip product to last the day, and I ended up having to borrow a lip gloss from one of my bridesmaids. It ended up working out, but it would have been nice to be provided with more lip product or at least advised on what to purchase beforehand. Nevertheless, Lindsay did an exceptional job listening to everyone's preferences. My mom doesn't like wearing a lot of makeup, and Lindsay made her look absolutely beautiful while staying comfortable and true to her own preferences. Overall, I loved having Kylie and Lindsay be part of my wedding morning. They kept me calm, were on time, professional, and made sure I was ready well ahead of schedule without feeling rushed.
