She's very old school in that she's practical and no nonesense which is refreshing! Her office staff is really pleasant but often gets the billing wrong. Luckily we're patient and happy to put up with paperwork hassles that occasionally come up. The staff also tries really hard to get your children in and seen by Dr. Jan if they're not feeling well. My second visit she spent 1hour and 15 minutes with me. She wants to know everything about you. She isn't afraid to do whatever she has to do to get information from past and present doctors you may have seen. She talks a great deal and believes in lifestyle changes and anything that could affect your health welfare. Having a female doctor makes so much more sense to me in this area of medicine because she relates and knows exactly what you are saying even if you don't know the correct words to use.
