A lot of childhood memories here! A little run down still but looks like they are remodeling it! Poor alligators need to be released and the birds should be given to some sanctuary. If you buy a floaty they will pump it up for free! This location can get busy on the weekends since it right in the busy part of PCB. read more

So unfriendly....we asked if they had any apparel etc that said Alvin's Island and the response was "I don't know....youll have to look around". I put the things I was gonna buy down and walked out. read more

Employees were very creepy! They sat in corners in different areas of the business. At one point we thought that the business was closed and forgot to lock the doors. I would not go back! read more

Tons of options but a little expensive for the items there selling. The turtle key magnets were cool.

Service sucked. Signs are there for looks I guess? We shopped on the buy 2 get 1 free rack for hats, and also a bogo free t-shirt rack. But when we got to the check out, Carla tells us that the sale isn't on these things. We don't mind paying the full over inflated prices, but the signage literally sitting on top of these racks says they're on sale! She kept refusing to acknowledge what's right in front of her face. This is a HORRIBLE place to buy anything. Even in their off season, with clearly marked items. Just don't bother. Walmart is right down the road. read more

OMG DO NOT shop at this store! They can't be bothered to help you! Everything is a small. The staff was so rude this huge guy ironing tshirts just leaning over his ironing board with his huge butt on his phone not even acknowledging he was blocking the aisle right in front of the tshirts I was trying to look at! Then, it turns out he also runs the cash register and talk about RUUUUUDE! He just starts yanking tshirts when I was trying to check them to make sure I had the right size! And then at the end no thank you, nothing whatsoever and I spent almost $200! DO NOT GO HERE! THEY SHOULD GET ZERO STARS! read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would give it zero stars. The staff were really rude. And The Prices are insane A Hat Cost $21!! And The Store was a Mess. read more

The selection was great and prices were decent but I'm dismayed at how much pro MAGA and trump stuff there was in all 3 Alvin stores I was in the past week. It was all over all the stores. I'm so tired of hearing about politics and I came here to relax and get away from a stressful job. There are definitely better places deserving of my money where I don't have to be constantly bombarded with pro MAGA and so viciously anti democratic stuff here. There's a time and place for that kind of stuff but not in a place like this. Seriously disappointed in whom ever is your buyer. read more

I am not exactly sure what I did while I was browsing through the store but I came up with my five items and the cashier, an interesting looking woman with blonde hair stared at me and I stared back at her as I put my purchases Down... No greeting whatsoever... So I said OK I'll do it "hello"... The response was a grunt "hi" ....... she rang me up and grunted something else like "cash or credit" to which I said "pardon me"... To which she responded " cash or credit...I guess I must've rubbed you the wrong way... ". I was like "well I'm fine it seems to me that you have the problem"... she asked me to run my CC through again and I decided that I was not spending my money in this business... I work very hard for it and I certainly won't give it away to anyone who would employ an individual of that caliber... read more

Alvin used to be a great place for buying shirts snd trinkets. It's gotten too expensive and not that great of a selection. Sweatshirts are $30. You can go down the street and get the same shirt for $10 read more

Closed for inventory/restocking? At 6 pm on a Tuesday in September? My husband just needed crab nets. We left cash under doors what a joke!!

Way over priced, no dressing rooms, sizes are way off, no refunds or exchanges, aisles are very narrow. Dicks sporting goods is right down the street. I suggest you go there. read more

Where you will find nice little nik nacks and fun floats on the beach. My experience has been not so great. Still waiting in line, bc apparently one cashier is all they think they need. and she seems to take her time. Im spending more than $30 yet theres still ''no restroom'' for the public. isnt that illegal. This is the location nearest to pier park on front beach rd. Ill never come to this location again. Hopefully the other stores are nicer and quicker! read more

Warning Rip off City!!!! Stocked full of crap from China Bought 4 items, 3 had defects and 2 of those broke the first time I used them. Store is run by people who aren't from around here and evidently in their country customer service or satisfaction is a foreign concept! No refunds!!! Only exchanges for store credit on stuff that breaks the same day you bought it! I left the pile of crap laying in their floor and just left after arguing my case with the person the manager sent out to talk to me, why would I want a second piece if junk to replace the first one? read more

Lots of cute stuff! Some of the employees were kinda rude and didn't say hello or anything. The bikinis are adorable and they have lots of PCB stuff. The hermit crabs are cool. There are some inappropriate items. Overall it was nice! read more

Generic beach products, prices are higher than some other places. No restroom for customers, some employees are a little rude.

This is tourist junk heaven and you will love it. Miles of souvenirs with Panama City Beach on them. Tee-shirts, shot-glasses, key-chains, blah, blah, blah.... just go. You know you need to take a box of this junk home to give friends and family. Forget all the rest of the tourist traps and give in to the biggest and the best. read more

Time and the economy have not been kind to Alvin's Island. I have fond memories of this place going back many years. Now the store seems half full, the alligator barely has any water and the volcano is a lawsuit waiting to happen with burned our lights and ripped open doors. If this wasn't such a local legend of a store and if this had been my first trip I would have given this a 1 star. read more

This review is for incredible customer service from Debbie. Debbie checked us out at the cash register, and she is absolutely amazing!!! So kind, down to earth, and positive. We need more people like Debbie in this industry! Also the store had GREAT prices compared to the other shops in this area. read more

PCB R. Jackson Blvd & Front Beach Rd--Worst customer service that I have ever experienced!!!! My daughter was here visiting us in PCB & purchased several items. She got home (3.5 hours away) & realized there was several tiny holes where the price tag had been placed & they left the sensor attached. You only have 7 days to exchange with the receipt so she paid $6 to mail the shirt back to me. I took it in on the 6th day after the purchase & they were so hateful & RUDE. They actually accused my daughter of putting the tiny holes in the shirt even though I found another shirt on the shelf with the same type tiny holes where the price tag gun had punctured through the material. They displayed such poor customer service that I stated that we would not come back to shop because we were treated so horrible. She replied, "We don't care because plenty of other people visit PCB & they will shop here!" Bottom line.... they do not care about the customers!! Sad that anyone be treated this way. Either this lady needs so corporate training or she needs to be fired! read more

Shirts are pathetic. Iron on lettering "Panama City Beach, FL" (an obvious in-house add on) was falling off within minutes of putting it on - before even leaving the hotel room. I know now why there is a no return / no exchange policy. read more

overpriced souvenirs but it's a cute place to walk around and really just breathe in the vibe of PCB!!

Prices are decent. Good selection. Hands down the rudest cashiers and airbrush lady. Overheard them cussing repeatedly and belittling customers in store. Very unprofessional management allows this. read more

Went in for a "forgotten necessity" for the beach. We quickly located it and went on our way. We did pause to look at the extensive selection of shirts and other clothing available at a reasonable prices for beach front. Some were available without the PCB tag on it too. There are as many of these here as convenience stores so just choose the one closest to you and pick your souvenir. Some stuff is cheap and cheesy but you are in the midst of tourist Mecca here..... read more

You know what! You can't get me to turn down going to Alvin's island. I love the place. As cliche as is can be, I still love it. They really have some cute clothes in here too, all of them do. I can stay in here for hours, but only when it's raining or evenings! Don't want to miss beach time! read more

Cute stuff. Reasonable prices. Lots of options. What you would expect from a beach shop.

This store is cheap for quality things, or things that look like knock off things like for example Victoria Secret Pink/ Ivory Ella. But personally I think that stuff is hilarious! Great store! And nice variety. read more
