Being new to the area, and with the need to remove branches from our old roof, having both an enormous oak tree and a pine tree close to our house, and with hurricane season upon us, we decided to hire Elite company. The owner came over, examined the trees, and explained the dire situation. He also arranged for other experts from his crew and outside his company to come. Their findings were patiently explained to us in both professional and lay terms, along with a respectful period of time for us to process our options. Eventually, we went with the more prudent approach to have both enormous trees, which were positioned in a very challenging location, removed. Although still beautiful, the trees were not healthy and would have been deadly to keep. The removal of the trees was awesome to watch. Also impressive was watching how the crew safely coordinated moving the large tree portions, quickly moving them out of the way from an active road, cutting up parts, and hauling them away. This included the trimming of a palm tree near our pool cage. Everything, including cleanup, was completed by the end of the day. I just wish I had enough iPhone memory to have recorded everything. They were massive, overgrown, and shedding leaves like a mid winter snowstorm. Our realtor recommended NFT to us and we're glad they did! Cliff and his team were efficient with removing two large trees, grinding the stumps, and trimming branches from five other trees. They showed up early and ready to go! They were careful around our pool and with a tree that was way to close to our house. The tree by the pool the team had to take down part of our fencing to access it and were very careful. When they put the fencing back up they were able to point out some rotted posts and helped us shore them back up until we can get replacement ones. The tree by the house was a major pain in the butt as someone in the past had poured concrete down the middle of the hollowed tree, not sure why but they did. Since the tree was hollow in the middle, a new tree had grown inside of this tree and was the tree hanging over our home. Their expertise was demonstrated in their ability to cut these massive trees down and remove them from our property. Their pricing was competitive and half the cost of other quotes we had gotten from other companies. They do take credit card, debit card, or cash. Sorry guys I have to do this: I hired JB back in the beginning of February. It's now the beginning…read moreof May, I was upset that I was not told that if they leave these huge mounds of wood shavings from the root grinding it would take years to decompose. They also should have only left what was necessary for the hole to be filled in and a bit for settling, not huge mounds that make the yard look like skiing humps. I called and was given promises week after week that they'd come and pick it up. I ended up handling it all myself, but when I did, I uncovered hidden under the shavings stumps are above ground level sticking out. Additionally, the diesel fuel that they spelt and were aware of and said that they'd come back and fix it along with the oil spill in my driveway from their truck. They never came back to eradicate the damages, so I was left to do my best to do it myself. In the meantime, I now have on a tarp under my carport dirt that was dug up and now remains a 4' round 4 foot deep hole in my front yard at the front door. I don't know if I even got all the contaminated soil out. They've been kindly notified of this, but it goes on deaf ears. So I tried to put a claim through their insurance company because they carry insurance and they themselves blocked it from going through because they didn't want to pay their deductible! So why the heck do you even have insurance? It's really quite a shame because they were very personable, fun, decent guys, so I thought. I'm really very disappointed in them.
