Definitely check out Residences at Lake Park and ask for Sammi when you do! Not only did she call me the day before to confirm the appointment (the only place to do that), but she had amazing customer service skills throughout. What set this community apart from the others was the level of care I received. Sammi made it a point to ask me what I'm looking for in my apartment home and really personalized the experience. The other places just told me what was available and didn't seem to really care. The office has a board in the clubhouse with events for the month that I really liked. They put on two resident events per month and also have food trucks each week so it has a great community sense. I met some residents on the way and they had nothing but nice things to say, which was very reassuring. The apartments themselves were very well kept for being 5 years old. She did say they were in the middle of projects like painting the buildings and updating the dog park so that was a nice touch. The inside of the apartments were made very well with massive bedrooms and closet sizes. It had an open concept and the kitchen had everything I needed. Nothing was cheap looking. The price I feel was fair for the value and luxury feel of the community. If you are looking in this area, please visit this place and ask for Sammi. She sold me! I let the law team at the VA know and they will be conducting an investigation so if anything changes I'll update this review. They ignored my email of all the crazy damage my apartment came with. No hot water. Water heater needs to be fixed or replaced. Same with dishwasher. Washing machine doesn't clean clothes somehow? It comes out of the dryer still smelling dirty no matter how much sweet lavender scented detergent I use lol. Dishes come out dirty. Water backs up in the sink. Garbage disposal broken. Valet trash that I pay monthly for never works. Internet outages and random momentary power outages happen regularly. Something with the building wiring. Roaches. Cockroaches all the time everywhere. There's so many giant holes for them to crawl from. God, I didn't even name everything but I'll just include the pics i took when I first moved in. Now I have to move all my furniture out of my apartment so they can fix the floors, outlets that don't work, yes I checked and reset the breaker.

There have been multiple instances of water leaks from the ceiling, and every time I report it, they take ages to respond, only to do a quick patch-up job that doesn't solve the problem. To make matters worse, the AC rarely works, making the place unbearable during the hotter months. Between the terrible maintenance, poor living conditions, and lack of care from management, this place is a disaster. Not including the poor security in which my car got broken into. Definitely not worth the rent they're charging.
