A majority of the people staying there are residents and live there permanent and are extremely nosey and pry into your business. Expect to be approached by many homeless people. They will try to rob you of money after you have paid. Saying you didn't pay your bill. There is mold in rooms and they are extremely disgusting. No housekeeping to speak of I stayed over a week and not once did I get housekeeping. So many better options in this area with more amenities for the same price and not having to deal with this place.

We choose this motel because it is directly across the street from Steak -n- Shake, our son's favourite burger place. Checked in without any problems. Didn't try the continental breakfast but good to know one was provided. Didn't use the mini Fridge which was in need of a good defrosting. Microwave only worked after unplugging it from aa array of other cords and plugging it directly into wall. That being said, room was still decent for the price. Pros: comfortable bed, clean towels and shower, TV. Cons: rusting coat closet pole, peeling finish on bathroom door knob, questionable cleanliness of toilet exterior.

Again, so conveniently located off exit #427, this Red Roof offered us a nice, warm dip in the pool. The late night dip in the pool was like water therapy for the body after hours traveled on the road. Our room was pretty big and the night was very quiet. Once again, plenty of parking and our dog was happy to join us on the trip.
