The level of service was minimum. When it came to the actual date of the funeral and honor guard - Tina wasn't able to confirm anything. My sister-in-law ended up doing all the leg work to make the funeral and honor guard happen. My sister-in-law requested for his wedding ring to be returned to her and Tina said they tried but couldn't get it off. "I think he wants to keep it." Luckily, they were able to give her his ring the day of the funeral. The lack of communication was appalling. Tina was terrible about returning phone calls. I guess the one thing she did well was run her credit card. I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere.

We know this to be untrue as we have had two other deaths in the family during this time and they each only took 4 days-at different funeral homes. After the third week, we tried to contact Tom and had to leave 5 messages over the course of another 3 weeks before attempting to go up the chain of command for answers. One of the reasons we were trying to get ahold of Tom was that the obituary we submitted was incorrect on their website. I was told that Tom was the only one who could help me because he was the funeral director, therefore, I haven't been able to share the obituary with family. My husband got ahold of Tom's boss, Tina, who said that they were still waiting for signatures to do the cremation-which had already been submitted and verified by Tom on February 9th. Tina promised to call back and never did-when we finally called her back she was scoffing, and irritated by having to listen to our concerns. She ensured grandma would be cremated the next day and would call us back the next day with confirmation. Her boss, Michael Long, was supposed to contact me regarding this nightmare. 5 more days passed, and I had to call back, yet again, and spoke to Denise, the only person who seemed helpful and compassionate about our situation. She was able to verify that grandma had finally been cremated. I had to make an appointment with Tom to pick her up. Tom basically said that he never received our numerous messages and would not have called us back anyway because he only promised two calls-"death certificate ready" and "cremated remains ready". Tom said that he couldn't find the original obituary that was submitted and that we should have been ok with idea of grandma being in a refrigerator for 5 weeks because, again, in Toms words, it's industry standard to take 5 weeks. I am completely disgusted and disappointed with the negligence that my grandmother received with this place. This has put a stain on my memory associated with our already devastating loss. The Springs Funeral Service has not shown the compassion, and professionalism that their website has stated. From what we have been shown, the business model consists of lack of communication, marginalization, and no accountability what-so-ever. And to Tom-the extremely rude, inappropriate, and narcissistic comment that you made about my grandfather, who you were supposed to be friendly with, shame on you. I'm sure that even if upper-leadership, as you suggest, validates that the practices executed here are normal, would certainly, I hope, disagree with your opinion on that. The main reason I am writing this review is so that people know that in Toms words-"if you would like to use, or recommend the Springs Funeral Services, it will take at least 5 weeks".

My father served in the Korean and Vietnam War and retired after 20 years of service to this great nation. All Veterans represented that is a company run by veterans, providing services for veterans. The first call was to a lady named Dee, who was cordial, empathetic and gracious. The actuary agent was named Stephanie. She was impatient, communicated impatience, which was attributed, by us, to her being very busy or too young to be a vet or did not understand her role. After my father passed, without forthcoming updates, it took 4 hours for All Vets to retrieve and move his body to the funeral home. When the day of the graveside services arrived, the US Army military honor guard did not show up! We were later told that Stephanie mistakenly provided the wrong cemetary for the Army honor guard. When the playing of Taps was discontinued after the first few notes, we were told it was due to "technical difficulties"! The memorial service programs purchased through All Veterans were 4x5" bi-folds! The memory book was prepared with a typewriter, that produced mis-aligned letter characters, misspelled names and evidence that some of the content had been corrected with correction tape or 'white-out'! The city of burial was incorrect, as well as the spelling of my father's mother's name!! Even after proofing the data, to be contained on the death certificate, it was finally delivered, by All Veterans, 20 days after his death, with incorrect spellings and data! Whenever All Veterans was called to report these discrepancies, they provided assurance that corrections would be addressed immediately. Nothing would happen, until they were contacted again and the issue escalated to someone who assured us they could make things happen. All Veterans did provide an 'AI' produced email from 'Julie', that communicated condolences, well after the burial and even requested completion of a survey for feedback after numerous complaint calls were not resolved. A partial refund for the services not delivered was made, but even that required several follow-up calls for almost 4 weeks. We wish we had known. BUYER BEWARE!!

I started to get suspicious when my sister-in-law was talking about their services and the need for a prepaid credit card for payment. We wanted to pay crematorium directly with a credit card so I looked for a phone number for their company. Since when does a cremation or funeral home have a 800 number? After reading that, I understood that they were some kind of middleman making arrangements for the cremation but not performing it. I then googled the address of the company that they are contracted with. They happen to have a hole in the wall funeral store front running under two different funeral home names. That prompted me again to Google some more. They operate under two company names Legacy Cremation Funeral Services and Heritage Cremation provider. They've been taking up a collection in order to pay for his cremation and a family service. It's sickens me that registered business would purposely try to take advantage of anyone in their time of vulnerability, and prey upon them in their time of need to give their loved one a humble send off instead of leaving them in the county morgue. It's absolutely despicable that someone could treat another person in such a manner. My sister-in-law was in the middle of signing contract documents to get them faxed to send to Legacy. I'm so glad we were able to intervene to stop this so that we can find a reputable, local crematorium. Based on the reviews, numerous news articles and court documents about these two companies scamming individuals and not providing them the service they were expecting, is easy to come to the summation that this company would not likely render the contracted services. Remember that if something looks too good to be true it probably is. Always perform due diligence and make sure you are dealing with a reputable funeral home. I will post pictures of the contracts once I get them.
