Even though I rinsed the recommended suit in cold water, it has lost its shape and become saggy. Today I was told by store Staff that there is a bathing suit laundry soap which I was not told about at time of purchase. Now, six months later, the Staff at the store said they don't guarantee bathing suits used in chlorine pools and there was nothing they could do about it. I would not recommend buying a bathing suit from My Top Drawer if you are going to wear it in a chlorine pool. I feel that Staff need to be more forthcoming about the risks when buying a suit from this place. I definitely would not recommend My Top Drawer.

I met with Sandra M, my consultant for the appointment and briefly described my preferences and also mentioned, that my date hadn't been set as of yet and I wasn't a fan of wearing dresses (had no clue what size I would be either)! Sandra was very patient with me and first let me browse around the store. After selecting a few options, I began the dreaded task (in my opinion) of trying wedding dresses on. To my surprise all the dresses I thought I would like, did not make the cut and I couldn't wait to take them off. I had set aside one "maybe" and then before deciding to finish for the day, Sandra suggested one last option that she found in clearance, and it was my size. The only caveat was that it was the fabric I told her I did not want (but bonus that it was under my initial budget). I decided to try it, and to my complete surprise it was better than all the others I tried that afternoon. We walked over to alterations and chatted with Sarah T, who was lovely. I briefly asked if the dress could accommodate some additional alterations/additions to customize the dress to make it feel like it wasn't just picked off the rack and she said that she would be happy to do so and we could discuss all the details in our alterations consultation... and just like that, I said YES to the DRESS. We waited. And waited. First appointment. Second appointment. And finally to pick it up only to find that it wasn't done. So we waited some more for them to finish the dress that they'd had over a month to complete a small hem and tacking on a belt. I guess I appreciate finding out now the kind of scatterbrained arrangements of this David's Bridal location before I purchase my own wedding dress from them. UPDATE- After receiving the dress right on time for the wedding we were attending, during the reception the belt fell off the dress. This is ridiculously poor workmanship. I now have to pay, again, to have it repaired. Obviously I will not be bringing it back to David's Bridal to do so.
