Our party of five were offered a delicious sparkling white wine and local cured meat and bread to start. We ordered for an appetizer the seasonal squash blossoms stuffed with ricotta and then fried and served with a fig reduction. Absolutely one of the best things I've ever eaten. The plating and presentation were gorgeous. The next course we ordered was the risotto with basil, sweet red pepper, and stracciatella. My husband had the spaghetti with capers, raisins, onions and olive oil. Both were out of this world fantastic! Our main course was hazelnut encrusted lamb riblettes, stuffed with a little bit of fig. Hello! It was sooooooo good! One in our dinner party ordered a beautiful florentine steak, prepared flawlessly. Another in our party ordered the rabbit, which she said was divine. We finished up with a fruit tart of sorts. It had a wonderful buttery cookie like top and layers of fruit and a chocolate or hazelnut creamy filling. Grapa was the finishing touch to the evening. All the food was organic. Most of it was grown on the premises. The chef was completely attentive and genuinely happy to feed us. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.
