There was too much batter and grease on the calamari which made it inedible to me. There were others at my table who "liked" it but we all agreed it could've been much better. I say skip Zwolf Apostel in der Waldschenke and believe the reviews. I will not be going back.

Everything was very tasty and it looked like a good family place. Tables were always five or six people at a time. I had the knodel which tasted to me like really good thanksgiving stuffing. I also tried some of the roast and schnitzel that my friend had ordered all very light and hearty at the same time. Best German we've had in Germany so far.
