Spent close to 30k with this company for 2 separate systems at our farm. first time around everything went very smooth, and as expected so I used them again. Second time around it noticed it took longer to get responses to questions regarding my order. My order itself took longer to get shipped, and it was shipped in 2 shipments weeks apart from each other. In the end they wound up sending me a used inverter... most likely the floor model or something. I was told I would be refunded 15% of the cost to make up for it, but I never received it. Additionally, I purchased a 3-line diagram which I also never received. Upon inquiring about both items, I was told they would "look into it". Every email after that was not responded too, and if I called the warehouse I was immediately disconnected. I was asked to purchase an Outback inverter/charger and that it needed to be in hand in 3 days. That is a super quick turnaround. I was totally stressed trying to find not one, but TWO! Since they are so heavy, I tried to find a Alternative energy store I could walk in to. That was not happening. I was striking out all the way around! I called AltE to make sure that they could get them to me in the time frame that I needed to have them. Shaylene answered my call...and am I glad she did! I had ordered a partial system from Alte store about 2 years ago. System is still up and running fine. What impressed me was the service I got a timely response on the quote ( had an inverter I was trying to use ) and needed panels racking etc. I can't recall teh guy who put the order together but I had everything I had needed to complete the system right down to the last nut & bolt. Small amount of hookup wire with the connector on it that wasn't used. I didn't know the exact length and preferred to err on the long side. But am very satisfied and will soon be placing a second order with them. BTW I received the shipment in a timely manner being it was shipped across the US to the SouthWest. read more
